Whiteoak, Obed, and Mr Sanders arrived at the Bunker. The made their way in very carefully. Spotting several of the already tripped booby traps, they soon had a fairly good idea what to look for, and quickly found an empty room. They were ablre to do this with only a very few serious injuries.

After determining how to tap into the bunker power source, Mr. Sanders set up a dimensional expander and soon the small room had become a fairly extensive series of rooms that would eventually become labs and testing facilities.

Some time later, now, they have set up living quarters and labs for both technological and magical research and development.

As for technology, they are in the developmental stages of a small scale (no bigger than a "breadbox" (make that a fair sized microwave oven)) REPLICATOR.
If all goes well it should be able to make copies of items either from a particular item or from input specs, or from a standard memory database. Eventual plans include the ability to radio transmit input data from a homebase unit here in the lab to a remote unit.
The user will have to put into its "material input section" roughly the equivalent of the component materials, although it has an ambient collector function that can collect enviromentally available elements.

They have also brought the M.A.V. into a garage area where sections of it had to be rebuilt to eliminate a variety of Corporation "bugs". More modifications to come...

Magically, Sanders has completed the development of a new "Shock and Awe Orb” which, when used, dumbfounds and confuses, (and renders incapable of attacking) persons within a 100 foot radius of is detonation (and it can be thrown or sling shot, or other wise delivered physically.) The cast-er can mentally select those who will or will not be affected. It lasts one post for magically adept opponents, [who should explain in their post that or how they detect its influence and that they can subsequently neutralize its affect] that is of course unless they have previously posted some sorts of mental shielding. It lasts two posts [one to be affected by it, and another one to be shocked and awed by something they perceive as shocking or awe-ful, and then they can resume on the third post.

Each ASF member will have available for retrieval 2 of these, Sanders and Whiteoak can create them or cast them as spells, but it takes a fair amount of energy and time to create new ones or do the proper mental rituals to cast the spell. The would have to allow a posting or two of game play to go by without significant involvement to allow for this inner activity, which they should indicate as preparation, but would not have to say just what they are doing until it is used.

Begun work on sheilding for the MAV.

-Deflector shields to protect against projectile weapons, and
-enhancements of the mental shields intended to counteract the corporations magic ability neutralizing technology
(I'm assuming he came up against it in the implied war that ended the Corp Dev. thread and so has a rudimentary knowlege of its effects if not its exact inner workings. As such it will not be total, but will limits the ability of their dampeners.

They are also working on a smaller, personal unit of the above,. but it is even farther from completion.

It should be noted that the Full Protection and Integrated Response Field has the ability to offer partial protection when at full strength.
I will not allow the Corporation to define away an ability I have used previously, I would consider that powerplaying unacceptably.

You've got some nice stuff there. Out of curiosity, what do you mean by 'ASF'?

((ASF is short for the Angelic Special Forces. These are the elite fighters of the Heavenly Host.

In classical Judeo/Christian apocaplytic mythos, the archangel Michael is the Sword of God, the leader of a might army of angels, like in Milton, or parts of the Revelation (don't get me wrong, I'm not an end times nut cake left behind idiot or anything).

So, I made up the idea that this army, like most modern armies, should have its elite unit of special forces. My characters, so far, are all atttached to this elite unit, they are the Angelic Special Forces.

Sanders is sort of the Jack Bauer (24) type, but older and retired.

That was the basic idea, which has grown and changed over time, but thats still the basics of who and what these guys are- Angelic "blessed" beings, on earth to do good, and to fight evil. ))

Obed is practicing morphing into the larger animals by gaining enough mass to hold together.

He is also practicing his english to lose the accent before I offend someone who actually is from Ethiopa
