The Expedition Gone Wrong

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru winced as he was kicked, then looked up at the tiger as it had it's paw on his chest.

Then it licked him, and he giggled like a child. In between his giggles he managed to say "Yeah, shelter... that means we can make BROWNIES~!"

[Embri]

"Drunk? On chocolate milk?" Embri shook her head, then moaned, regretting the action immediately as the world took to spinning again.

She laid her head down on the damp ground, despite the mud and dirt.
"Maybe you can find the others, Angel. I'll stay here with Kazumaru and Blackfoot for a bit... I don't think I can get up right now. "

((Sorry for the lateness, trying to make four more creatures, finishing the bending brothers profile, school, sometimes I don't have the time for detailed posts. So should I finish the benders first, the new ones, or put both down to catch up in the RPGs?))

*When Katara asked if Embri and Kazumaru are ok, a weird pollen stunned Natu a Katara. Leaving them paralyzed until reawakened by time or disturbance.*

((Embri, you forgot Katara job.))

[Coolpikaaa]

Coolpikaaa knew something was wrong.He started to feel woozy and hyper at the same time.As he dashed throught the bushes,he curved back around toward the cliff,and saw that a small part connected the two sides.It didn't look super strong but coolpikaaa knew he might be able to get across.
Slowly,the pikachu made it across and started to walk in the general direction of camp.After a while of walking,the pikachu heard Embri,Kaz and the others talking and was just about to run to them when he noticed something strange.It wasn't dripping on him anymore.Looking up,he was immediatly shocked.A plane,trapped high in the tree branches,stared back.

Alec shook his hand angrily as the pikachu tried to shock the device. Luckily, it had several components that allowed it to discharge unwanted energy as it was one of a kind, and highly expensive to make.

He turns to see Melody approaching him, "There was a yellow creature nearby. Otherwise no. I know where everyone should be. I left them to gather food and map the area. You can join me if you want. But we need to move everyone to a lower altitude, there are some noxious gasses in our region."

Slotting his device into a pouch on his waist, he turns in a direction different to the pikachu's, knowing a quick route back to camp, "Are you able to run?"

[Azaria Matthews]

*Az stared at a leaf. It wasn't exaclty the most interesting of leaves, usually they had some sort of random pattern of veins that criss-crossed, much like the internals of the Silmites...*

20 minutes later:

*Az is hit on the head by a falling, chocolate covered acorn-thing was wriggling about. The human jumped up with a shriek, muttering curses about Wamphyri and telling herself off for dozing when they were everywhere. Of course, this didn't help her pounding head, or the world that was still spinning around her*

*Az walks through the trees as the world spins and changes form, becoming dry and barren. Ahead, there is smoke rising from the sky, and a disturbing lack of noise. It's becoming dark, and Az comes over a hill she didn't remember ascending to a scene from one of her many nightmares*

*It was a primitive human village, and it was destroyed. Houses had been blasted open, or charred beyond recognition. The largest, what appeared to be the town hall had been split into two, the insides exposed to the darkness. Az runs down the hill, finding... nothing and no-one. No bodies, no blood, no animals. Nothing left, just destruction*

Hello? Anyone here?

Meanwhile, in the 'real world'...

*Az had gone into a trance of sorts, a memory had been dislodged in the chaos that was her brain, and she was acting it out now. While in her head she saw the village, in the real world she had gotten up, miraculously avoided jutting out branches that would have surely gone through her, and had now started walking down a bank towards the river. The words, she also had said aloud. It attracted the attention of a few membrs of local wildlife, but apparently nothing else...*

[Coolpikaaa]

It was scratched and dented in many places,but the plane looked safe.He decided to run and tell everyone back at camp,but after walking in the direction of the sounds,he noticed it was farther than he thought.After marching on for awhile,the pikachu came into the area where most of the people where.Breathless,scratched and tired,coolpikaaa said "I found a base..."

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru wiped some slobber off his face and looked at the little yellow thing "Ooh... you look glowy... do you know where I can get some pretty brownies?"

[Coolpikaaa]

Coolpikaaa stared at Kaz.Shooting a quick zap,the pikachu hoped to snap him out of his....Problem.

[Micka]

Nodding, Melody followed Alec as he started off towards the others. She breifly wondered what had become of the strange archeologist that had helped her from the tree.

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru winced "Whoa man, that was... trippy... whoaaa... I love your pretty colors..."

[Angel]

people seem to be finding us ok by themselves, Melody and... Alec, i think, are coming from over there and the pika-thingy. *she waves her hand in the general direction of the two faint auras from through the trees and the stronger one belonging to the pikachu.*
i cant see Az anywhere though. maybe she was out of camp when the flood struck, but she could just be out of range.

*she gets up off the mud and looks up to the still pale sky* i could send up a flare to help every one get back. i think i'm up to that a least.

*she steps into the center of the small clearing and stands with both hands pressed together infront of her. with a look of intense concentration she pulls them slowly appart, between them a sheet of redish light twists as if it is trying to escape her control. by the time her hands are a foot apart the fire takes the shape of a raging dragon. she grins, its not as good as she has done but she is releaved that she still has the touch.

after a few more minutes the flare is ready and she sends it jetting into the morning sky. it twists and turns for a moment before going rigid in a straight collum, attatched to a boulder near the middle of the clearing*

that should hold for a few hours but the sun will make it pretty hard to see even before that, people will have to be looking for it to see it. *she leans down and hugs Embri's neck* i'll be back soon as i find Az, or dont find her. she cant have gone far if she came through whatever it was.

*with that she leaps into the air and soon leaves the clearing far behind. she sweep round in ever widening circles, a standard search pattern centering on the pillar of flames.*



The tigress looks up as Angel leaves, soon forgetting Kazumaru, she bounds to where she took off from. she glares up and rears on to her hind legs, roaring ferociouly for being left behind. she thuds back down to all fours and mrowls. she pads over to Embri, who smells vaugely similar to Angel and flops down beside her.*

[Embri]

((First of all, TROT, you make no sense. Again. *sighs* I believe you were trying to say "Embri, you forgot to add Katara's job to the first post summary, but I could be wrong. Could you clarify? Also, a strange pollen that only affects your characters doesn't seem very believable... ))


"Good idea. Let's just hope you don't attract anything more than our teammates... I don't know if magical constructs wouldn't be an invitation to dinner around here, Angel."

Embri eyes the magical dragon flare with a worried glance. Still, there is little she can do, so the mare rests, leaning against the comforting warmth of Angel's new "friend" beside her.

[Coolpikaaa]

"I think we better get a team out,and check out the plane i saw."Coolpikaaa said."If it's safe enough,we just might be able to base there.Also it might have some usable supplies."
Coolpikaaa turned back to the planes direction."Who wants to come?"

[Azaria Matthews]

*Az stops, and looks down at legs. Something was... moving around them, and it was wet and cold. Something familiar...*

*With that wake-up call, Az snapped back to reality. She'd just walked into the river until it was ankle-deep, and now her trousers were soaked. The human also jumped backwards as she realised she'd just been about to step out into the deep, fast-flowing part of the river*

*Scrambling onto the bank, Az looks up at the sky, and the bright sunlight, which the human cherished much more than the darkness that seemed to perpetually surround her*

*Shading her eyes, Az could've swore she saw a familiar shape up there. It reminded her of the beings that had also come along on this trip. What was her name, Red Angel?*

*Az stood up straight, and started waving her arms around like the madwoman that she is while yelling*
