I took the opportunity to pick up a few things from the Wrecked Fortress after the first round. If I am permitted to use them, they will definitely be handy.

And it all depends on the arena, of course. I wonder what our chances are of getting something that will disadvantage a giant electrified mech?

We still have much planning to do. Whiteoak, what skills do you have with breaking mechanised defences. Goron, do you have anything that could drain them of energy, or break their forcefields?

You guys might want to look into the EMP cannon wrist console upgrade. If you don't already have the wrist console, then the console and the cannon are 750 together. Alone the cannon is 250. Gotta love these prices.

I have those, also the shield generator, satellite mapper and beam sword. Not entirely sure I can use them, as I recall some discussion about freezing the creation of new items until after the Olympics.

No you can use them. DP said he wasn't creating new items because he was going to be swamped. However since then he put Embri in charge so items are free to be created and used again.

I'm planning on following up on Embri's work to get the Olympics rolling again now that I have admin magic.

SO! I'm guessing that we will be going up against the Corporate Team. If I had to judge their match, I'd say Blackstar got thrown down without Embri to lead them. Either way, we'll be going up against our opponent man-up. I've taken the liberty of scratching up some profiles for them, if someone would like to go research Blackstar you can, but I hardly think it's necesary. Unlike Blackstar, however, we have no idea who these characters actually are.


Micheal Rawlings
Role: Leader
Weaponry: Despite being the leader of the team, Micheal's Mech is perhaps the most lightly equipped of all of them. Nonetheless, it is still an EXTREMELY powerful tool, one that could absolutely decimate you from both up close and afar. Also to take of note is that his mech will be slightly faster than the other two, given it's decreased weight.
Weakness: The one crucial thing Rawlings lacks that the other members of his team possess, is the anti-EMP sheilding. Other than that, I would say he is extremely well armed, a genius strategist, and fearless to boot.

Till Doyle
Role: Combat Specialist(I can't really put a finger on it)
Weaponry: Of the three, Till is the most heavily armed. He's got guns to shoot you at long range, a huge sword to beat your ass at close range, and an electrical hull with various sheilds, in case you manage to land a hit. Also of note would be his anti-telepathy device.
Weakness: It's been said by Rawlings himself, Till is over-confident. One more thing. He is romantically linked to Luar, but I don't want to resort to such low tactics as holding one's loved ones hostage. Just keep it in mind.

Luar Doyle
Role: Thinker
Weaponry: Luar is the middle of the team. Slightly less armed than Till, but with more weaponry than Mike.
Weakness: Of note here is Luar's lack of any real close range weapons. She is devestating at longer ranges with the sniper attachment, but unlike Micheal and Till, she has no close range sword-type weapon. Also, same relationary tie-in as Till.

Overall Team Evaluation
The Corporate Team works together frighteningly well, and is armed to the teeth. Together they can cover any distance of attack, spanning the whole battlefeild. The Mechs are not to be taken lightly; they are the single heaviest weapons in the whole tournament. Even with our one man up advantage, we're looking at an uphill battle.


I need to know if Uncle Asriel will still be able to judge. If not, we may need to find a back-up. DP has said that current contestants could also be judges, so Shaon, I'm looking at you.

Ooo right, UG didn't get here until the break. Ok here goes, get ready for a post of 3kul-ish proportions.

The RP Olympics are a gathering of all of the Creatures Community Role Players in an effort to keep the spirit of the RP alive, test your abilities, and have a good time along the way.

The Games play out in a bracket tournament fashion, with single elimination (or round robin if the number of contestants is not a power of two). Each match is judged, much like the Challenge Arena, with the exception of the Team Tournament, which has four judges. The four judges represent each of the four Olympic Teams (Blackstar, The EC, The Gaurdians, and the Corporation). Contestants win based on score, not knock-out.

The Olmypics orginally started last spring, on a forum somewhere just for that purpose. However, shortly after the first round, the entire forum was lost, and so we restarted the Olympics here, on Blackstar, with all new contestants, teams, and judges. We also added the tag-team event.

The first round took place here in the Olympics Arena. The tag-team and individual tournaments went fairly smoothly, with few upsets.

In the first round of the team tournament, the judges decided to match Blackstar against the Corporation, both of which only had three members for various reasons, and the EC versus the Guardians. We were the underdogs, and it was a great day for us as we came out on top, surprising everyone.

The BS vs TC match was never judged, but it is almost unanimous that the Corporation thrashed Blackstar.

Wow, that wasn't as long as I expected it to be.

I am under the impression that this is to be a whole new Olympics. Is this not correct?

If this is a new round, I would be interested in being on a Guardian Team, and/or pairing up with someone for a tag team event.
