As little sister walked along she suddenly bumped into someone. It was odd, because she knew that the person wasn't there only a few milliseconds ago. But there was definately something solid there now.

As she looked up, she suddenly became aware that it was The Sensei standing before her

DP: "I see you couldn't wait to start rumors. Shame on you, Little sister. I would have expected better from you"

"No, Jax is not my child. But I can't be expected to keep on ruling Psychotopia now, both as their diety and their monarch! My Ascension has changed my responsibilities, and creating this place for you only made that worst. I simply cannot continue to be both diety and monarch. So I will be stepping down...eventually. "

DP then takes out his Sanity Blade, and points it at Little Sister

"So, unless you feel like becoming human today, I suggest you stick to the facts as you see them, and stop trying to interpret them. Don't forget, when I was in the EC I outranked both of you, and I still have fort partially under mind control."

~I wasn't aware that Fort had much of a mind to control, illustrious Se-n-se-i.~ Little Sister said, not all that impressed with the God's threats. ~And I only heard the rumour, I didn't start it. Your actions now though are quite convincing, it makes me wonder just how true it could be. Of course, adding in that you've sought me out to convince me not to talk about this to anyone else despite the fact that I can't actually speak has only made me even more suspicious on top of that.~

She regarded the Insanity Blade before her with skepticism. ~It's pretty damn obvious you haven't considered your threat very well, which doesn't say all that much for your supposedly infinite intelligence. What the hell would make you think that being a human would be sane or insane for me? Everybody knows what that stupid knife does - the only thing that would happen if you cut me with it is that I'd revert to basic Parasitian instincts, and we all know who gets eaten if that happens.~ She casually walked past the god, not really caring to carry on this conversation much longer. ~Try not to strain yourself thinking about it Sensei, you might need it to threaten other innocent people.~

((what a thing to come back to! my holiday was great but i think i will remember this month for this RP rather than the holiday ))

*Angel kneeled next to Embri, barely noticing the arrival of so many people, for the entire birth. her head began to droop and her hands began to shake but the feeling of new life was, as always, worth every second.

she sags on the stone, just watching Ajaxon in his first moments of life. she slowly becomes aware of every body else and stares about her in bemusement, she wonders why a child of the Evil Council is being blessed by a preacher but since Embri seems fine with it... she leaves well alone, feeling the burn of the divine energy from where she sits. once Embri begins to walk away she follows, unthinkingly, with her eyes on Jax.

[Embri]

((ANGELLLL!!! YOU'RE BACK! *happy dances with a huge grin* I missed you so much! I can't wait to finish up the RP, either... ))

Embri walked through the forest slowly, stretching her sore legs and body gently for there was a long road ahead.

Jax steadied on his tiny hooves quickly, the pale light of dawn casting rosy golden light over the whole forest. His coat soon dried, the fuzzy, wavy down of a newborn creature. Like a virtual shadow, he walked glued to his mother's side.

~Shani? ashke-shani... thank you for being here with me.~ Embri sent, her thoughts suffused with a supremely content glow. The unicorn glanced over her shoulder at the shadowy figure trailing a bit father back, rolling her eyes. ~Mwrrr... Seph was not quite as enthused.~

[Angel]

((aww heck. its good to be home! i missed you too))

*Angel jerks her head up in suprise at Embri's voice then smiles.*

I couldn't not, could I? besides, what would I do if you werent there for me?

*she trails off into silence again. in a few strides she catches up with the pair and rests her hand on Embri's shoulder, like she always does. for a while she just watches the foal totter along with his long fetlocks blowing in the dawn breeze. her thoughts wander back to the time before she met Embri, would she even remember her daughter now if she hadnt died then? she shakes of the thought. today is Embri's day.

in an almost silent whisper she says*

I'll bless you too one day, little one. once you are old enough and have chosen your path. whether it fit with our Sensei's wishes or not, we will stand by you.

*in her head echoing voices mirror her words in almost perfect unison. we will stand... *

[Embri]

Embri nods, stretching out her wing to curl it around Angel's shoulders.

"I promised. Always, and forever, I am yours, ashke. That will never change." Embri walked along slowly. Her ears moved steadily from side to side, listening for any unusual sound.

"I will be much happier when we reach the relative safety of the Cave." Embri dropped her wing even closer around Jax, eliciting a surprised whicker as the small colt stumbled into his mother's side.

[Angel]

*she smiles breafly at the small noise*

i hope it dosent, i really do... *she pauses* come on, you're tired, we all are. i know that the cave can be... trecherous at times but it is the safest place in the world right now.

*she is glad for the comforting gesture and leans in close.*

i have the feeling that life is going to get awfully intresting around here soon.

*she has a slightly melancoly air to her. she wonders how a child will cope with so many hopes being rested on his shoulders. she winces as the first warm rays of sun peirce the sky and she shades her oversensative eyes. how could they be any more different? Embri, born of light and love, and Angel, created from chaos and darkness and hate.

her head pounds with thought and she curls her fingers in Embri's silky mane for comfort.*

~A lifebond is for life, ashke. I could no more disown you than I could carve out my heart and live.~ Embri colours her sending with affection and acceptance. ~Surely you know this by now?~

Noting her heartsister's discomfort in the pale dawn, Embri fans out her feathers a bit, casting shadows across Angel. She sweeps Ajaxon out in front of her with the other wing, coaxing him to go faster as she quickens the pace. They were almost there. The dark entrance of the Corrupted Cave loomed ahead.

With relief, both mental and physical, the trio enters the relative safety of the Evil Council's lair. The newborn foal hesitates in the sudden darkness, pressing up against Embri's side until he is almost walking on top of her hooves.

"Relax, young one. This is home." Embri paused in the main antechamber, suddenly realizing they may well have a problem. The rooms she shared with Angel were on the second floor. They both normally reached them by flying... but Ajaxon would have to take the stairs.

Laying back her ears in dismay, Embri led her foal over to the stone steps. "This will be one of many challenges you face in your life, Jax. The first, but not the last."
