((This is a training thread for Leporidae and myself, seeing as she is now my apprentice for the Evil Council. *grins* ))

Panther sat crosslegged on a flat boulder. She was in the middle of a field; about half a mile from the Training Dojo. Raising her head back to look at the sky, she heard a twig snap. Her feline auds twitched once, and she said, "You can come out now, Apprentice Leporidae. I won't kill you."

The leaves on the bushes nearby begin to rustle. The wind must be busy doing it's job today. A paw reaches out and pushes the branches away as a foot steps out just barley under the paw. A tail can be seen twitching as Lep emerges from the tumble of leaves and twigs. She out-streched her wings with slight delight. Her ear twitch as she spoke "I'm ready . . erm, um." Lep kinda twinged for a sec, pondering the fact that it would be rude to call her EC sensi by her name. She wisperd to panther in a some-what startled voice "Erm, what should I call you by?"

((Good, good. The sentences are slightly choppy, try combining sentences with commas or semicolons. Make sure to capilatlize all names too. ))

The shapeshifter rose from her position and stood, her large spiked tail waving back and forth.
"Sensei, or just Panther. The formality isn't nececssary." She stated, grinning. "Let's test your skills in battle; I have not seen you fight before." She took a fighting stance, both arms raised in front of her face, as if she were doing karate. Panther slowly began circling her apprentice.

Lep looked at panther, questoning how and when Pan was going to attack. Although it would be interesting to see what her sensi's next attack is, it would be for the best if she took some defense. Lep hasted as she grabbed for her valuable sabre and yanked it out it it's sheath. She swiped it down to about where Pan's belly button should be; with the shar end facing the ground. If it were her intentions were to kill Pan, though, the dull end would be facing the direction Pan's destination is. ~This should startle her and keep Pan at bay for a while.~ She looked to her side; Pan was about two to one feet away from her sword. Lep made a smug smile; she and her confidence waited for the next step.

Panther quickly shapeshifted into a hawk, flying away from where she just was. She keen loudly and landed behind Leporidae. Her form changed again back into a blue, spiked feline.
The morpher's right arm began to blow up like a balloon. It hardened and turned a sickly green; the end now resembled to mouth of a parasite.

"This is what the head of a Krish'na looks like," She commented. "A very fierce species- their goal is to eat as much as possible." Panther grinned as a screech came from the creature's mouth. She put her arm on a nearby tree. Instantly, the parasitic animal began feeding. She soon morphed her arm back to normal and drew a funny looking circle on it with the tree sap.

"Part of my training includes shapeshifting and alchemy.... Which you are about to see here." She tapped the edge of the ornate circle. It glowed omniously and transmuted her arm into a long, wooden sword.

"Since my limb contains wood particles from the Krish'na's feeding, the alchemy is able to draw upon them. They fuse with carbon in my body and harden." She raised the sword and lept at her apprentice, aiming for her stomache with the flat of her blade.

Lep was rather interested at what Pan was doing after she dodged her sword. But now she was, as you say, not-very-satisfied. ~Argh! I hate it when they sneak up on me like that~ Lep, in her sudden panic and hurry to escape, fell upond her tail and was unable to get away as fast. In otherwords,
Pan has succeded hitting Lep in the belly with the dull side of her sword. ~Agh! Caught! Ah well. Too bad I can't move very much~ She grumbled a bit, trying to grab the sabre she dropped.

Panther shook her head.
"Tch tch, control your movements better. Your tail is not just for show after all." She gave Lep her left paw. 'Get up and try again."

Lep accepted the helping hand and got back up, along with a few minor bruises. Ah well, it dosn't really matter. Lep nods and awaits for a response.

Panther nodded briefly and started on some alchemy.

"The law of Equivilant Exchange- or Trade- is alchemy's First Law. This can apply to everything in the world, if looked at in the right light. In order to obtain something, something must be given. This can be anything from a simple item, to a person's life."

She paused and gave Lep a stern look.

"The transmutation circles of alchemy are very important. They represent the circulation of life; everything participates. We are born, grow up, breed, and die. All things go in this cycle. It is impossible to stop the flow; even us immortals will meet the Reaper someday."

She sighed and scratched the back of her head, glancing around suddenly.

"That is why you must never, ever, try to ressurect someone. That is called HUman Transmutation. It is taboo for a good reason. Some people seem to think that thier life is more important than another's. Of course, this is total complete bull. Interfereing with the Cycle is dangerous and results in the backfiring of the First Law.

Lep was rather confused at what Panther was saying. This could be only cuased by two resonds:

A. She has the attention span of a needle and didn't listen to what Pan said
Or
B. Someone or something distracted her thrus she didn't listen to what Pan said.

Whatever the resond could be, Lep gave a simple shy nod to Pan and conntinued to:

A. Have the attention span of a needle
Or
B. Look at whoever or whatever she was looking at before.

Lep watched a butterfly who was sucking on some nectar in a cornor. She was rather fastinated about it's colors and shape. The butterfly eventually noticed landed on her nose. Lep tickled her nose, but the butterfly wont budge. "Neah. Der izz a bupperply ob by dose." Lep looked at the butterfly and tried to shoo it away with her hands, the brave butterfly refuses to retreat. Lep didn't want to kill the butterfly, so she left the lil' bug on her nose.

Panther raised an eyebrow and chuckled, her sword-hand morphing back into its previous state.

"Heh, silly little butterfly." She clapped her paws around it, looking as if she crushed it. Au contrair, as her blue paws were cupped around the insect. She opened her mitts again and flung the butterfly into the air.

Panther adapted a fighting stance again, smirking softly.

"Try and hit me, again."

Lep nodded, getting back up using one limb after anouther. She took a defensive stance, brewing up a plan. Eventulaly, her attempts worked. She ran up strait to Pan, taking a quick turn once she was about a foot and a half away from her not-so moving target. She jumped the tree and crawled up it's bark. Lep twisted around to get a good look at her sensi, lingering in the swinging branches of the great oak.

Panther grinned and nodded briefly.
"Good attempt, Leporidae."

She morphed into a large rhino, nostrils flaring. She backed up and charged at the tree her apprentice was in. It shook crazily as hundreds of leaves came tumbling down.

"Most opponents wil use everything in their enviorment to win," She commented in an obviously deeper voice. "You have to scan all options and make sure that whoever you are fighting won't be able to use things aginst you."
