I dont' set stock prices, or cause them to fluctuate...it's done in the system...I'm not sure if it's random, or based on demand, but it's not my doing when you lose all your money in X-stock

I'm probably losing just as much wealth.

Several mods I'm looking at making for the system are these:

1) Have all the interest on loans go to me Wink Only makes sense that the Leader of Blackstar would also be the leader of the Bank.

2)Set up a system for stock-caps that would only allow so many stocks to be out on a particular company. It would also have a null number that when set to that, would allow unlimited stock to be out.

3)Have stocks be linked to an account, so when you buy stock, the money goes to the company (or from the company in the case of selling stock)

Edit: On proposal three, I might set it up so where you can open up a company on the stock exchange, where the user for that stock is automatically set to you.

Damn. I can understand stock markets when they're seperate enteties that have nothing to do with the rest of the world.

When buying stock actually gives money to the company it makes everything much more complicated.

(Don't take this as a critisim of the idea though. I'm just lazy and like things like this to be nice and simple and written in big, friendly, colourful letters. In crayon if possible.)

Alright, with blackstar back up, I have to things in mind:

First, I want to uninstall prillian. Nothing major, I just have to sit down and do it.

Second, I'm going to be creating a way to link stock to an account, as an option, so that the company "founder" can get the revenue from sell of stock to expand his store's selection, increase his Character's efficiency with items from other people's stores, ect. Example: I, as head admin of Blackstar, would become founder of BSD, and would use the earnings from sale of stock to buy goods from people to benefit Blackstar as a whole. With this, I'll be creating a way for you to create stock, but only one company per user....And once it's in, it's in...only an admin would be able to change the stock (which means you gotta buy some Pocky)

How does this boil down economically?

First of, when people buy stock, we'ed assume they are buying it direct from the company, and as such, the earnings would go to the founder of that company.

When you sell stock, you are selling it on an open market, so the founder isn't liable for paying for the sale of stock.

Also, while stock owners are hoping for the price of their stock to rise (to earn a profit off of it), Company founders would rather the price fall, because more people would be apt to buy a cheap stock, and the founder would get more money.

What do you think? Also, I'm still more than open for stock ideas until I get this system finished. Please, I wan't the ticker to be MUCH longer!

The most popular paper of the Dojo, although not so much as a news source as a form of entertainment, as the paper is dedicated on covering what did not happen the previous day, in an effort to fill a niche other papers just wern't filling.

They mine in the north east, harvesting minerals and whatever else they happen to dig up. Their most popular product is cheap costume jewlery, although they also do buisness in more industrial and/or exotic goods.
