Goron entered one of the side rooms, and placed a sign on the door that read:

"Spar with Goron... hand-to-hand combat... no killing each other"

Shadow took up his position on the side to watch, while Goron waited for people to arrive.

((Hmm...I need practice with one of my other characters)

A young man, whom looks about 25, enters the sparring room, then takes off his trenchcoat and set's it down on a nearby bench. He looks around at the detail of the room. The entire floor, save the area right next to the entryway, is padded, and the walls are a bamboo latice with rice paper. Very traditional.

He turns to his opponent, who, quiet frankly, is very non-traditional.

Blackfoot approachs the sparing ring, bows to Goron, then transforms himself into his Gargoyle form.

His handsome features are replaced by a boar's head. His body morphs and twists iitself to resemble that of a lions, save the two hugh bat wings that sprout from his back like a pair of extra arms. His skin darkens, then turns to a granite like texture and hardness all over his body, save his hands and feet, which turn black like onyx.

Now transformed, the Gargoyle takes a fighting stance towards his sparring partner.

"Shall we dance, future boy?"

"Typical. I can't remember the last time that I fought a non-mutated human. Oh well... when life gives you lemons..."

Goron returned the bow. He was completely unsure what his fists could do against solid rock, despite his increased strength...

"Only one way to find out I suppose..." With this, Goron leapt up to the head level of the Gargoyle, and planted his foot right in its face.

Blackfoot was impressed. This futuristic stranger didn't waste any time. But that seemed to be common with visitor's from the future...or at least the few he had met.

Blackfoot had two options. He could have held his ground, which probably would have ended up with more than a few broken bones in Goron's foot. But he didn't want to hurt his opponent, this was just a friendly spar.

So Blackfoot took the second option, letting the blow knock him sideways, he kept his balance by doing two or three flips, and on the final flip springing up and letting his wings catch the air currents.

Once Airborne to a sufficient hieght, Blackfoot folded his wings next to his body and put one foot out, hoping to kick Goron with a high velocity blow.

It didn't take a genius to figure out that kicking a giant rock man had done little or no damage. This was lucky, because Goron was anything but a genius. A new plan of attack would need to be devised.

In the meantime, there was the matter of about 500 pounds of Gargoyle coming straight for him. There were so many options for Goron in this position, each less appealing than the next.

However, staying put had to be the least appealing of them all... with a swift push to the side, Goron barely avoided a large amount of pain, and possibly a few broken ribs.

But that didn't mean he was off the hook completely, his period of indecision had cost him, and the edge of Blackfoot's foot caught him on the waist, sending Goron into a mid-air spin. Goron nearly missed colliding with Shadow's head.

On, his feet in an instant, he devised a new plan of attack. At the moment he had some time to manuver (his oponent's high-speed kick had made a foot-shaped hole in the wall). He leapt across the room and grabbed Blackfoot's trench coat.

Wasting, no time, he covered the gargoyle's head with the garment.

And you just wait for what I've got coming next... after DP stops doing his whole CC VIP thing for long enough to respond...))

*Blackfoot had not expected his opponent to be so crafty. But he had to admit, the way Goron moved into position, and used Blackfoot's own trench to blind him was ingenius!

Blackfoot stumbled back a few steps, trying to claw the coat of his eyes, but only succeeding in forcing it down on his tusks and tearing the rest to shreds. A couple of more steps, and he falls backwards out of the ring*
