That's right, it's an all request line, and I'm on the other end. Have a question about the forums? Am I a bit to vague on a Concept? Or just genuinely confused? Well Ask here, and I'll answer your questions, and add it to a FAQ2 page that will be going up soon.!

I've got a question, Sensei. How are the number of credited posts per day limited? I understand the why; it wouldn't be fair that every post is worth something, but how many posts a day can we get credit for? I haven't been able to figure out the system yet. Shocked

From what I understand DP has been having a bit of trouble with that system's code...

congratulations...you posted more than 15 times in a 24 hour period...now time to fiddle.

The way the system worked is that if you exceed 15 posts within 24 hours, it switches you to a no earn policy. For the next 24 hours, you can't earn any cash. The problem is that if you post within that 24 hour period, it resets the timer, so you have to wait another 24 hours to earn cash.

However, I upped the max post limit to 20 post, and brought down the wait time to 8 hours, which should be a good nights sleep...my little way of encouraging proper sleeping habits.

Ah, thanks for clearing up that posting thing. I was getting a little confused as to why it kept saying I had exceeded my post limit for about two and a half days straight Shocked

The unknown opening date of the stores is understood; you're not coding it (And I imagine it's a pretty complicated system!). But may I ask if we will be able to add images of the items to our stores/inventories? I've got a couple of very nice sprites worked up already, but I don't want to go gangbusters and find out they're not postable.

Embri: There is no way for the user to post images to the items you create, but if you send them to me, I'll be able to tack them on...I think.

Ruster: No! I have a personal Adversion to Spelling Cow...so it isn't going onto these boards.

Glad to hear images might be a possibility. It would be pretty hard to limit what people put in their stores otherwise, Sensei. I think it also makes the whole store/inventory system more attractive. Any idea what the image size is going to be? I'll guess fairly small, otherwise the server will get bogged down handling too many graphic files.

EDIT: I just noticed I'm green now. Yay! *Embri unties red ribbon from her tail and adds a green one.*

If I'm ever stuck on a word I always type it in a word processor, thus giving me the correct spelling if I'm wrong. I know it's probably not the quickest idea but it's better than nothing. I don't like the Spelling Cow either, tried it a few times but gave up on it. Sad

Beleev it oar knot, Eye hav notised sum speling erors on thes 4-um.

Maybe we could find something that DP doesn't hate and try that?
