Ok, I know we have the volcano, mountain, and jungle island...but what were the other enviroments? We'll need at least one more to keep things interesting, considering we've dropped one faction's judge and added two (maybe) _________________

Normal: Plain oval-shaped arena, flat terrain for standard 1v1s.
Ice: A frozen glacier, spirits are at a disadvantage from the cold, plus people can slip over.CHosen by the Master of Masks for Forte in Kassato v Magus Magus
Water: Two suspended platforms above a deep pool of water.
Wind: Gale force winds blow through the arena.
Jungle: Dense undergrowth and living plants which may grab players.
Desert: Giant sandunes and dust storms may inconvience some players, along with the heat. Azzy has the Tag Team of Addman/Holloweyes and GBE/Fade playing here...watch out for the Sandworms!
Urban: Just your ordinary day at the local shopping center. In your dreams... Azzy has Ace Addman and Father Mac duking it out here.
Void: Where am I? You are nowhere, yet you are everywhere. You are in the void, and you may never return. Don't let the riddle confuse you, you're actually just in a blue room of infinate time and space
Dream: A place where your dreams can come true. And your nightmares too. - Chosen by the Master of Masks for Little Sister v Masamura
Space: A day on the UAC Mars City facility? What could possibly go wrong? Aside from the whole demonic hellspawn of doom thing.
Cemetery: Ooooh, spooky. The next grave you step on might just be your own. Unfortunatly, the village has a tradition of celebrating the death of those long gone every sunday after church. Guess what day today is.
Swamp: And you thought the jungle was hard. Most of the plants are poisonous, and the ones that aren't usually have several rows of sharp teeth.
Graveyard: This is nothing like Cemetery. It's an urban graveyard, a city ravenged by nuclear war, nothing left but the cockroaches (or so it would seem). Just watch out for the zombies. They bite.
London: New London, a town that flies through the airs. One of the last remaining settlements of humanity after the meteor hit. The police force can get *real* nasty if you tick them off enough.
Mercury: One of the first places humanity tried to terraform. I mean, who gives a crap about mercury? Unfortunatly, it exploded, and it's shards now revolve around the sun at incredible speeds. The gravity packs a punch. Surprisingly, there are signs of life on some of the shards, maybe some of the terraforming equipment still works. Changed the concept some, but same basic theory
(Kat_05)Fire (Minor changes): As suggested, a small volcano in the middle, or magma pits. The volcano can erupt.
Cave: Dark, narrow, many tunnels with lots of rocks.
Suburbia: Your average suburban neighborhood. Let's hope it doesn't drive the crazy people sane.
El Dorado: This ancient city of gold is a perfect place to have a battle. Gold may be soft, but it is still heavy!
(Kat_05)Kingdome Come: One way in, no way out. This decrepid castle is completely closed in, though you can wander it's extensive courtyard if you need sun that badly. Just avoid that dungeon....
Here's what I've found while searching the EC forums... _________________

Yeah, those were a lot of ideas. I believe some EC members have even more ideas if you want me to post a thread for it (or here even).
When the tourney actually started, judges got to pick the enviornment. _________________ If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed.

What I think we are going to do is let the judges create an enviroment of their choosing, using the list as inspiration or completely ignoring it.
If you create an enviroment not on the list, please post it here so it can be considered for later match-ups. _________________

I like being able to pick and choose environments. There aren't enough competitors to use all of them, so if we have the ability to pick and choose the environments, then more power to us.
I think we ought to have a one time us only policy, as it could get kind of boring to see the battles played out in the same environment twice. We all have moderator powers here, right? Why don't we colour in the used environments in the above post, to show we've used them. SOund good? _________________ "The tragedy of Canada is that it could have had British culture, French cuisine and American technology. I concur (obviously).
Also, I'm liking the spread of the enviroments we are using. We have Old world, New World, as well as a combination of modern, past, and post modern...plus the natural and artificial. And we still have four more matches to post up. In speaking of that...where are the dynamic duo? _________________

You're right DP. This is a good enviorment spread! Wonder if it'll stay balanced in the rounds to come? _________________ If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed.
