*DM says as she folds her wings back down, and starts walking along a road. She didn't know the city but it was interesting to explore new places*

*Az shrieks and grabs on to anything she can as the MAV pitches and turns around and around, getting dizzy*

*The human somehow manages a nod at the Norn, even though the room appeared to be spinning, and starts first looking through the mechs systems to find any bugs that might be causing this*

It would be a good idea to install seat belts when this is over

*The mechs advance on the GORON army even while they attempted to damage them with their inferior bullets and lasers, the few human pilots holding back so most of the main force of non-piloted mechs could pass them*

*The frontline sprayed everywhere with machine gun fire, and those on the left and right frontlines stopped, facing outwards they scanned for those who would try to outflank them, letting loose a few rockets per mech even as they did so*

*Shrapnel from the grenades and bullets from the rest scratch the mechs but don't do any real damage, and the lasers simply leave singed metal*

*Laur smiles nastily, her own ability and the airborne spybot gave her all the information she needed to know*

((Goron walked around and pulled the extension cord out of the socket. All the mechs shut down.

No? Ok I'll try something else...))

Goron's upper arm was cut by a piece of flying metal, but he hardly felt it. He opened his comlink.

"Major, this isn't doing any good. Tell everyone to switch to an EMP pulse cannon. It's included in the console."

"Yes, I know this sir... I'll get right on that."

For a moment everything was silent except for the firing of the mechs and the explosions and screams. Then several hundred loud charges were emitted from all sides, and Electromagnetic pulse beams shot at the Mechs.

As they traveled, Goron hoped this would work. Although his idea pile was starting to shrink, he had one surefire plan left. He just hoped he wouldn't need it.

*The frontline, and the stationary mechs on the left and right flanks are hit hard by the EMP blasts, both their systems and backup systems shut down*

*Behind the desk, Laur thimps the desktop in anger. Damn them all to hell! Laur sends one final command to the mechs still unaffected. Retreat*

*The mechs kept safe on the inside immediately use the Warp engine, reappearing back where they started from. The 300 or so left standing experience a system overload, the EMP having taken out the electronic sytems regulation protocols, the electricity that had surrounded the inside and outside of the mechs mixing with the fuel lines...*

*The mechs spectacularly explode in chain link fashion, spraying everything and anyone unfortunate to get too close with super heated molten metal*

((THAT'S your solution? "If you can't beat em, self destruct."))

"Hit the deck!" Goron shouted.

The din was deafening. A shockwave of explosive power shot out from the mechs, sending firey death everywhere. The molten metal hit objects of all sorts: trees, the ground, unlucky GORONs.

"We'll have a forest fire here if we don't put this out soon. All medical personel, tend to the wounded, on the double! All non-wounded get to putting out those fires!" Goron barked as he climbed out into the cneter of the battlefield. The place was a wreck. Various squads began to put out the fires, while medics hurried around, helping the Gorons laying on the ground.

"Uncle Azzy's not gonna be to happy about the destruction of his forest," Goron sighed, looking at the flaming trees around him.

Between the Gorons firing upon the mini-mechs, and the mini-mechs exploding, The Corporate Transport ship, and the vehicles travelling with it are hit, severely enough to knock them out of the sky.

Crashing into the ground, the transport ship tears open, the cockpit is completely crushed, and several canisters are exposed as the Transport ship begins to slowly burn. Some of the canisters begin to leak a strange gas, with the name stating the contents scrubbed and scratched away.

The assisting vehicles land, unable to operate from several stray EMP streams.

Back at the HQ, Till's eyes widen in fury, as this important vessel crashes and all communications from it go down. Turning to Laur, "You retreated. Vhy exactly?"

As he rapidly types into a data-bank, he gets angry on what he previously knew. He was going to have to dispatch a clean up crew, he couldn't afford to lose this valuable research.

((In preparation for the sequel to this thread (as this one is pretty much dead), Till Doyle has asked me to finalize this thread.))

The fight between The Corporation and the Dojo had lasted for two years. Two years of fear, death and pain. Of heros fighting an impossible battle against horrors unbelievable and of forrests burnt to ash. Even the with the join assistance of The Council and Psychotopia had little effect on the incredible might of The Corporation. But eventually a stale-mate was reached, and a treaty was initiated.

in exchange for leaving the Dojo populace alone and releasing any prisoners it had captured, The Corporation would gain fifty percent of the Dojo grounds and free trade within the Dojo market. The demands were near-extortion, but the Dojoians happilly accepted the terms if only to be able to sleep without fear of capture... Or worse.

And from the treaty generated peace. But it was not to last, for there were other forces within the Dojo's universe, ones that had a different, more dangerous agenda than the simple wishes of 'The Corporation'.

I can understand that you want to start a new thread, but what you've given can hardly be considered any sort of closure... I'd complain more, but it's not like it directly affects me so I don't mind what happens *retreats to the safety of the Corrupted Cave*.))
