~I don't have to mention it!~ Embri whips her head around, pride and pain showing in her eyes. ~Do you think you're the only one who has someone to lose? I am as tightly bonded to Angel as one can be, without sharing the same body.

I love her, with all my heart, all my soul.
I didn't help you for you, I helped you for her. She needs you.
I would lay down my life for her in an instant, if it were needed. I know she would do the same. If that is the price of love, this weakness, it's one I am only too happy to accept. Some things are worth the price of pain.~

Embri looks up at the cave above them with narrowed eyes. "Let's go."

[Angel]

thank you Embri... i would do the same for you *she whispers very quietly.

Angel swallows, those eyes.. she's seen red and black but those... she takes a step away from Seph, as if he might explode.*

Seph... you can get her AFTER we sort out this mess, please? that thing is not going to wait for us to finnish!

*she glances at the black water, it's rippling slightly and making small splashing noises on the stone*

As much as i would like to finish the job..

She is right, i suppose...

Besides, it cant get out while the old dude is there...

*Leaping at the column again, he applied the same theory, and rapidly climbed upwards*

[Embri]

"Excuse me for stating the obvious, but wouldn't that be a good thing, it not being able to get out? Why are we going up there if that "old dude" is keeping this thing sealed away?"

~He's crazy!~ Embri sends to Angel ~What the hell is he thinking? Seph's going to get us all killed.~

[Sephirothsicase]

*Seph reached only a few more metres away from the overhang, he sent down a message to Embri*

~Oh, And while your there, just know this, i would do anything for her, i would die for her time and time again, but, i dont even know if she will talk to me anymore, i love her, i care for her, but its extremely difficult...~

*Leaping upwards once more, he grabbed onto the overhang and started to pull himself up*

[Embri]

"Feelings are rarely easy..." Embri murmurs, fluttering up to the ledge. Landing lightly, she ducks her head to look inside.

"Hello? May I come in, please?" The unicorn asks politely.

[Angel]

~he might get you killed but he's killed me already.~ *she smiles in amusement*

*Angel lands lightly next to Embri and glances round the chamber,* ~well, well... feels holy~ *she make a noise of slight disgust*

[Embri]

Embri lays back her ears, eyes adjusting to the brightness of the small alcove. ~I know. Hurrrr. I can't decide if I want to thank him or kick him in the-~ Embri was interrupted by Angel's landing beside her.

~Well, you know.~ She eyes the person in front of her. ~Do you really think this being floored Seph? Goes to show appearances can be deceiving...~

[Sephirothsicase]

*Seph stopped once again and motioned for them to follow him, putting a foot on the door, he brought it back and kicked it visciously, pushing it off its hinges and landing on the floor with a metallic clang, taking another stride into the room, he looked around the cave, it was large, very large, he hadnt noticed that on account of the white-noise, looking around, there was a bed, a chest, a large wardrobe, and a small passage leading into a cellar*

Well, he cant have gotten far...

*Seph strode down into the cellar, a small breeze kicked up the further he went*

[Angel]

*Angel steps over the mangled door after him. she wrinkles her nose at the very lived in smell of the room and shifts her eyes into the infrared. she traces lines of slight warmth in the air and a dim trace on the wall of the stair well, as if someone had run their hand along it on their way down.

dark blue cold air begins to fade the trails of heat as Seph steps down the stairs, she follows quickly but stops after a few steps down*

~Embri, can you manage these? they are a bit small...~

[Embri]

~Where you go, I go too.~ The unicorn said grimly, tucking her wings around her body tightly. She rankled up her nose in distaste, and trotted after Angel and Seph.

[Sephirothsicase]

*After a minute or so, they got to another door, growing tired once more, Seph put his boot to it and smashed it open, he walked into another room with a cross on the wall, and a small altar covered in white silk with another small golden cross standing up ontop of it, the old man was bent in prayer next to it, Seph drew a sword*

Right, Im here to pay you back for your cheap shot, and to release Kanrek...

*The old man stands up, and does not move more*

[Angel]

*she raises her eyebrows*
reaal subtle old man.

*she steps over the wreckage and watches to old man aprehensivly, thumbing her swords out of their sheathes a little way*

[Embri]

Embri finally emerges from the narrow corridor, happy to be somewhere a little more roomy. Her eyes go wide at the scene that greets her, Angel looking threatening, Seph ready to fight... and their only opponent a small old man, with no obvious weaponry.

"Did I miss something?" Embri asks hesitantly. "This person hardly looks like an opponent ... wait a minute, RELEASE the daemon? Are you insane?!? Why on earth would you want to do that, Seph!?"

[Sephirothsicase]

"Look, Im going out on a limb here, but im reckoning that this thing is pretty bad... soo... if he doesnt want me to, then i deffinatly want to."

*The man turns around and says the same thing as he once did, he does not approach but stands his ground*

"Besides, he is an old man, his body is feeble, only that Shee Mon and I cannot touch him"

*The mand lunged at Seph with his hand outstretched, if slightly slow and sluggish, he steps to the side and flicks a knife from its sheath to his neck, the man runs into it drawing slight blood*

"Then I dont touch him..."

*He rips the jagged knife across the mans throat, severing his neck through to the middle, the man takes two steps before falling to the ground, writhing slowly in his own blood, Seph puts the knife away and stands over him, walking over to the pedestal he picked up a small swirling orb, this one had white mist inside it, he walked back and stepped over the man, making sure with his right foot to crush his hand with a crunching sound, it gave him a sick satisfaction, but it made him feel beter*

"Dear ladies, this is the orb that is going to unleash something spectacular, though I dont know what, but I have a good idea."
