Sao'tal could barely believe it. There was only one person who called him that dumb name, but he'd disappeared almost a year ago, never to be heard from again. He turned around and came face to face with someone he'd thought to be long dead - he was a little different than when he'd last seen him, but there was no doubt who this was. "KUMO!"

All three of them rushed around their old friend, overjoyed to see him alive and well. "How on the Homeworld did you wind up here?" Tausk asked, with a quizzical look on his face, before getting shoved aside roughly by Sao'tal. "We thought you were dead Kumo! What have you been doing since we last saw you?"

Pilelia hung back a little whilst Tausk and Sao'tal questioned Kumo. She hadn't minded Kumo's company back in the Sanctuary, but she was a little nervous about him. She knew that he was always kind and gentle, almost to a fault, but she could never shake the fact that he had been designed to be a killing machine from her mind.

Jo was about to try and answer in defense of herself and her brother, although, Monica for some reason hadn't mentioned her brother, so se wasn't sure if she was talking about someone else.

Anyways, there was a loud crash, that made her drop down as the cavern shook, and then she felt the continuum being used as a portal opened, bringing Linda next to Azaria.

Getting up, she dusts of her knees, and looks at the being, before turning around to look at Monica...

*Az jumps almost, the MMG now pointed at Linda and shaking slightly, the static noise had made her highly nervous*

*The human suddenly becomes more interested in the shield than the noises, and peers closer at it*

she asked as she stood up and looked for the nearest door.She touched it and watched the picture of a white rose shimmer into view on it.That was the cool thing about haveing a limmited control over plants:doors made from wood would listen to what you wanted them to do.

Linda's mind ran a quick check up to make sure that falling head first on the ground hadn't broken anything.She checked her needle-like prijections could slip in and out of her wrist,and smiled.All in perfect order,even in she was going to have a bruise for a bit.

She took her shield down and streached.It had been a while since she had slept or eaten.

*The human scratched her head, puzzled*

What's a borg? They some sort of machine race? Are nanites like my nanobots?

*Az pulled out a small box of what appeared to be silver coloured liquid, although if you had a microscope you'd be able to see there were actually millions of tiny silver robots in it*

After a few seconds, the logical part of her mind takes over again, and she drops her gun*

I suppose...that it's not my place to judge who should be allowed in these labs and who shouldn't.

DP: You're right.

*The Sensei's appearence startled her, as his appearences often did. She was never quiet able to detect when he was around. It was as if he appeared out of nowhere. But that wasn't very likely, was it.

When she turned to salute him, it gave her another start. He looked different...VERY different. And those eyes...she thought that the whole glowing eyes trick was an illusion designed to install fear and respect among the ranks, but now with his hood and cloack gone, his eyes glowed.

She gave her salute*

Monica: Sir, I was just informing these people-
DP: You were threatening guests of the Dojo...Don't try to lie to me, child. But considering your past, I suppose it's understandable.

*The human yelled as another creature landed on top of her, causing her to fall to the ground. The box clattered to the floor as did her gun*

Wamphyri! Wamphyri! Get out of here, everyone, quickly!

*The human yelled, convinced that the creatures that hunted her had finally caught up with her and managed to take her by surprise*

Kumo was completely taken by surprise that, of all things, the Protectors had reappeared.

"Erm, uh... I woke up here... and err, I woke up and just began wandering around. I like it down here, though, it's nice and underground and all labratory-ish."

He himself was bombarded with questions, and asked the first one that came to mind.

"Where's mister Serpells?"

Sao'tal was still beaming and he began to walk back to the Observatory. "The Saviour's back in the ship, come on, he'll want to see you." He would've dragged Kumo along with him, but he remembered that Kumo had a tendancy to paralyze you if you touched him, so he didn't.

"Laboratory-ish?" Tausk pondered. "That's probably not a good thing..." He tapped the side of his head to turn on his radio link. "Saviour, it appears that we've landed on top of somebody's laboratory."

"Yes, somebody went and stuck the oddest note on the side of the ship... It says '99,000 Yen

or Life'. I haven't the slightest idea what it means, but we should probably move the ship... Perhaps get Older Brother to come back and help me with the engines then." Serpells replied, turning over the strange note in his hands.

"Erm, yes, about that. It appears that you were right about Kumo - he must've fallen into a warp portal, for he is now here." Serpells was silent for a few moments, unsure of what to say. "Is he alive?" "Very much so." Another few moments of silence. "Ok then, bring him on board for a little bit, I'd like to speak with him." Despite the Saviour's rather unemotional tone, Tausk could tell that he was overjoyed at this news.

"Older Sister and I shall continue exploring then." Tausk waved after Kumo as he and Pilelia crept further down the tunnel - Pilelia in liquid form, Tausk scampering forward on all fours.

Kumo suddenly thought of something.

"Hold on, I want to get something."

Kumo began to scuttle off in a marked direction, the clicking noise caused by his feet echoing through the halls.

Quickly, he found his room and entered it, taking the seedling and scuttling back to the entrance, where he assumed Sao'tal was waiting for him.

"Nearly forgot the plant I collected."

*Az got up, shaking slightly to stare at Trace. Eventually regaining her composure the human walked up to the Norn and pointed at him square between the eyes*

Do not do that again, do you understand? I have enough creatures to worry about sneaking up on me as it is

lionda watched the sceen with intrest and was slightly suprised that another norn was there.She srugged and quitely entered her room.

Looking around,she could see there was a basic bed,desk and wheely chair which she could spin on.

she took her back-pack off and put it down gently in one corner,and lifted out 3 plants,and each one was carefuly put down on her desk.a microscope followed them.she had everything she needed for her experiments.
