*Seph snapped his wrist out of Embri's grasp, bringing the other around slamming it into her neck, bringing her to the ground, he put his knee into the base of her neck stopping her from moving*

I do what i do to survive only temporarily! Compassion or not! It only gets in the way!

Hind legs lashing out reflexivity at nothing, Embri fought down the overwhelming urges to run and fight. Instead, the unicorn tried to lay still, despite the burning pain in her jugular.

I ... think I might ... have overdone the insults ... a bit. She thinks, somewhat bemusedly. Nostrils flaring, trying to breathe, Embri pants haggardly.

With a rattling breath, Embri blacked out, going limp in Seph's hands.

*Seph took himself away from the horses neck, her white coat was smeared red with her own blood, he smiled wickidly, picking the neck up to look at the face, he laughed at it, so blanc and weak, dropping it so it slapped against the floor purposely, he stood up again and cracked his neck twice, letting his silver hair fall away from his face, revealing the bottom half of his face smeared and doused in Embri's blood, licking it off slowly, just enjoying the amusement it gave, he set to focusing on his wounds, brining up his arm, he snapped that twice into place, each with a sickening "Crunch" and "Snap" he applied this to his other arm, arching himself backwards, his spine cracked once, exhaling deeply, he opened his eyes again, not caring as he trod on Embri's neck, he spoke to Shee Mon*

See where compassion gets you? Down in the gutter...lying in a pool of your own blood...

compasion also gets you someone willing to lie down in a pool of their own blood to save you

*now mentaly united again she gets up off the floor and walks over to Embri, quickly checking Seph over from the corner of her eye. she kneels down next to her Sister and passes her hands over her wound. sparks of orange light send eery shadows over the walls as lances of fire touch and pulls the wound together, stoping the copious flow of blood. Angels brow creases with concentration and the light intensifies.

the glow shuts off abruptly and Angel sighs, her hands are covered in blood but no more comes out of Embri's wound, though it is still ugly and gaping.

she looks up at Seph, wondering if he had done the same to her but unable to remember the half hour before the Bite.*

Embri lies still, aware and listening, though she does not move. Focusing inward, she concentrates on accelerating her own healing, finishing the job her sister had started. The vicious neck wounds heals over beneath a thick layer of blood.

Hah. Compassion had nothing to do with it. It was a matter of survival.

Mentally, Embri evaluates her own condition. Seph had taken far less than she had expected, actually. Shhhhh.... A soothing thought for her foal quieted the unborn's instinctive desire to kick and run.

~I'm all right.~ Embri sends privately to Angel, soothing feelings following.

*Seph puts more effort into his foot on her neck, happy with the sound it makes, he steps over her, making sure to put more force into his foot as he steps over her motionless body*

Raven cares about you! is she dead and gone? if Embri is stupid then you are worse! you're rash and reckless even if you have no emotion, and i sincerly doubt that, it is pure, simple bad battle tactics to leave allies without a clue as to what you are doing!

*she leaps into the air and hovers near him*

I know she cares, but she's already dead isnt she? She's also gone god knows where, I may be rash, but thats how i am, if you have a problem, you are very much welcome to pick up a sword and try and fix that problem, but i doubt it, because your the smart one arnt you...

*He mockingly prods her forehead, smilling*

You know all to well that you are weaker than you were before you were turned, so that would be a baaaad idea, wouldnt it?

*Getting up off her, he put a foot on her stomach and pushed off, turning away from her, he began his rebounding climb on the pillars*

*she holds her ground as he laughs at her, not turning away in shame. the grab is not unexpected but he is too quick for her to do anything, she goes sailing down onto the cold stone and hits it with a sickening crash.

the moment between crashing into the ground and him landing on her seems to last forever, promising more pain in the near future. his full weight on her chest winds her and her eyes glaze slightly.*

the smart one... i'm.. flatered.. and she.. became your ally... the moment.. she came ..to you..aid. now, get...off.. me!

*she hurls her free arm round and clouts him off with a solid thump to the side of the head. she rolls over onto her front and pushes her self up shakily, her ribs crunch and shift themselves back into place.*

talk about unsubtle... *she stands up* why dont you fly up? you arent even thinking now.. *she sighs*

*Seph heard the words and lost concentration for a moment, gripping the pillar too late he put his foot wrongly and slipped, landing on his feet 20 metres down, he put his left leg forward and cracked it once, that was the last one, approaching Embri, he narrowed his eyes, they turned a dark shade of purple*
