((Hahaha - first thread here...

This, will hopefully give you a chance to brush off those characters who aren't necessarily powerful (or immortal -_-). It's a trek to map and discover and observe new species. All details about Keeper available on the link below)

Hopefully, the moderators will throw a few spanners in the works and help make this an extremely interesting rp...))

Keeper, deciding he needs to increase on the species he's caught as so far, tosses a strange little ball into the air, trying to decide how to go about a trek. Suddenly, an idea pops into his head.

Several hours later, he's created an poster, and pins them on all available walls, trees, and places a lot inside of windows.

The poster reads as follows:

Con was quite bored.

Being a rogue warp explorer isn't exactly very eventive.

So when she read the poster, she didn't take much time deliberating before she warped to the Wilds.

Two days would make a nice stroll.

Autistic Alien (AA) was serching for somthing to do when her eye makes a glance at a poster sitting on a little post as the wind blew across it. She approches the post and starts to move her eyes across the page. "Hmm, sounds interesting. Why not? Hmmm, maby I should check to see if anyone else wants to come. She starts to walk back.

It so happend that Kooki and Leporidae were looking for food and Ramset and Xendo were sleeping, so AA decided to pass on them and approched Jay-Jay (JJ) and Cecilia. "Hey, guys. want to go exploring?" JJ was too engrosed into a book and didn't hear what AA said. Cecilia was quite bored and starts to stomp her feet. AA giggles "I guess that means yes. Come on, we need to get to the Meeting Hall by tomarrow."

3 hours later, AA finished packing up. Lep and Kooki arrvied carrying a few paperbags. they both colapse onto the floor. AA and Cecilia arrived at the door. "Erm, what are you doing on the floor?" Leporidae squirmed a bit "Unghh . . ." AA sighed and placed Leporidae and Kooki on the couch. Come on Cecilia, Lets go." AA gets ontop of Cecilia and starts to gallop twards the Meeting Hall

*RedAngel sees a poster blowing on the wind as she stalked a flock of grouse and summons a ColdFlame (tm) to bring it to her. she reads it slowly and grins, this could be interesting. she rounds up her hunt, catching only one bird, and heads back to the Cave to get some things.
it takes her about half an hour to ready herself and get to the meeting place*
hello?
*the meeting place is empty so she decides to return the next day, it is too late to leave for an adventure then, so she heads back to meet up with Embri*

Cecilia and AA finnaly make it at the meeting hall. It was empty so they decided to sit down and wait.

And, as if out of nowhere, Con appeared, leaning casually against the door. Her tail was lightly coiled around one of her legs, the tip inside the cooresponding iron-toed boot.

"Did I miss something?"

Alec, finally getting to the meeting hall, stands at the front of the stage, honestly expecting more people...

"Uhm, hi, thanks for coming... My name is Alec, and I'll be leading this expedition. We don't know what we're going to encounter. And who knows what food there is.

I may look like I've packed light, but I have these specialist storage devices that contain all sorts of items including clothing, fresh crops, fresh food, emergency equipment, and some of my previous captures.

If you would like any of these, to lighten your load, please ask.

I do ask that you have only brought necessities with you, and no luxuries. Any questions, speak up now, or we'll begin our trek shortly...."

*Fade leans against the wall, currently using her abilities of blending into the background to do just that. She'd arrived a few minutes after Alec, having been undecided on whether or not to come. She'd decided obviously, to come. It could be an interesting challenge. Looking as calm and collected as ever, she fades into view. Now visible, you can see that she carries with an uncharacteristic backpack. Luxuries were something she never had need of. She directs a question at this Keeper*

And what is it you hope to achieve during this expedition of yours?

*Red follows the keeper in and roosts on a rafter to listen. in her hand she has a small bag with some bread and fruit, she would hunt on the way*
what will happen if somthing goes wrong and we have need of a quick return to the plains?

HollowEyes walks in through the door, wearing his EC-approved (ie: none of the standard black-hooded cloaks fitted him) dark sombrero and poncho once more. He was gradually getting used to wearing clothes now, and he felt that these gave him an air of mystery. ~They give you an air of something all right, but it certainly isn't mystery~ Little Sister commented, currently housed within the cage slung over his shoulder. "You're just jealous," he quietly retorted, noting that they were late.

He sat down quietly, sharply kicking the end of the pole that Little Sister's cage was on. The pole-end snapped open to reveal a stand, and he placed it on the ground next to him. "Besides," he added, "you should show me a little gratitude - I'm doing this as a favour to you." He couldn't see her under the blanket that covered the cage, but he could tell she was pleased. ~Oh, come on brother, as if you won't enjoy this. Perhaps you'll even start to see things my way...~ "I seriously doubt that." He replied bluntly, turning to the front of the hall to listen to anything else Alec might have to say.

What? It's not like you're having an important meeting or anything! Oh you are! Right, sorry.

Alec, looking around the room seeing all of these people asking questions waits until the disruptiond have stopped.

"As, the person waving the armband over is joining our expedition, they will be our main escape rope, if you excuse my meaning.

On the expedition front, my main objective is to identify new species of animal and plant life in the Southern Frontier. I aim to document their habits, and at least catch several specimins.

It would be interesting to see what lies beyond it. If there are any more questions, please go ahead, otherwise we need to take a head count, and take names...."
