((Lol. Very good 3kul, you even got the eyebrow raise at the proper point with Fade. I'm impressed.
And Father Mac, I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but thanks for showing up/giving apologies for not showing up))
*Nola looks at Nobu, and nods at him as he asks the question*
Nola: Yes Nobu, we play
*However as soon as she finished her sentence a net wrapped around her and Kalat, and they both start to struggle. Both looking for their hidden blades. Kalat eventually pulls one of his out and attempts cutting through the net, while Nola looks furious as she looks for her dagger. Where was it?*
_____________________________________________________________
*Fade neither seeing nor hearing anyone close by exits the Cave, now without the worry of stepping on cursed ground and joins HollowEyes in looking for the others. There was the look of a fight and perhaps an explosion close by, but it all seemed quiet now*
*While Fade appreciated silence she didn't appreciate not knowing what was going on with the other Relics or the other Defenders. So, joining HollowEyes seemed the logical thing to do* _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!

The Wildcards had retrieved their mines, and their other attack hardware that had gone unused as the Goron Army had retreated.
They consulted thier recon aircraft photos and decided to head northeast, They stayed south of the children, figureing them to be non-combatants, stayed south of the city, and decided to do recon in an area that had appeared to have been a battle site to learn what they could learn about who had been there and why.
Then they looked at the most recent photos and discovered a major change in landform freatures. A small hill side with a cave opening seemed to have moved! That caught their attention, and they decided to try to learn what that was all about. _________________ We are intensely loyal to Will Barron, We are intensely loyal to the Corporation, (But, then, we are mercenaries, make us an offer....) |

*The mechs that have landed in Psychotopia City continue to scan the area, sending as much information back as possible. One of them picks up the one on the three storey building, and is directed to investigate*
*Landing on top of the building, it sends information back about the condition of this mech, including any damage it has sustained while the other 49 continue to comb the city*
*In the office Laur checks the amount of troop numbers that the spy drone was counting. Now at 300, 000 and still rising. She didn't hold out all that much hope for the 4950 mechs that were approaching the encampment, but it would not only give the Corp valuable information, it would also whittle down the numbers as well*
*Laur refrains from rubbing her arm with the drip attached to it, it was starting to ache. As if to remind her of her injuries, her midsection gives off a small spasm of pain. Laur catches her breath to stop herself from gasping or crying out in pain* _________________ The shot you hear is the one you don't have to worry about |

((Somebody fill me in... This next post is based on what I read by searching for the word "Goron" in this forum.))
"Ah well, I suppose we don't have much of a choice do we? The Corporation is too big, too powerful. We need more help. Even an army of this size pales in comparison to all the traps those Corporate guys have set out," Goron sighed to Asriel. Shadow stretched and yawned before settling back into Goron's lap.
"Perhaps our best option is to let someone else try. There's gotta be more than just you and me alive of the Defenders. Maybe someone else will come up with a plan, and we can just offer our support when they do." _________________ ~Goron~

Nobu, suddenly finding himself encaptured within a net, looks very unhappy, "Not fun. Can't get out..! Nooooooolaaaaa!!!" He stuggles with the net, not actually managing to do more than wave his arms slightly in front of himself, trying to keep it off his face.
He sniffles a bit, as this was truly annoying, and it was ruining his day. He wanted to play with the shiny toys...
______________________________
Drone, upon realising one of her many of millions of offspring had been detected, sighed, as this particular one suddenly had its life cut short. She lost her children on a regular basis, but that was an unnecessary attack by LittleSister. She would eventually make her life a nuisance. For now, she had to just leave LittleSister to get on with what she was doing.
Other, normal sized wasps were watching events over Psychotopia City, relaying information back to Drone via the hive mind, each wasp strengthening the signal and keeping a clear picture for Drone.
Those within the hive mind would know exactly what was going on upon request. She hadn't been able to send her offspring to the frozen tundra, not without having a colony set up over there for her offspring to regularly warm up again.
((There you go, a good reason for being within the hive mind, instant knowledge, and she's collected a lot over the years...
And Holloweyes, I'm happy to let them die as long as it's done properly lol... I'm just not going to have them all easily slaughtered... lol....)) _________________ Books are source of knowledge, knowledge source of power, power is source of corruption, corruption is crime.Reading books will get you imprisoned!

((Hmmm, many zings zeem to have happened, I am, upto zpeed az it iz. And, zings, are not alvays vhat zey zeem.))
Till, watching Laurs activities had become intrigued. He had been unsure of her mini-mechs, but, had given her the go-ahead. It appeared that the scientists hadn't upgraded hers yet though.
As for the stolen mech, Till had recieved one final communication that had told him that paticular unit had been destroyed, and for all intent purposes, that's what he knew.
However, a stolen mech was always going to be a valuable item to The Corporation, they did cost money to make, and any data they had was always of use in some way. So, it would be understandable that any mechs had several bugs built into them in case of theft or tampering.
The Corporation wouldn't be able to influence them, or recieve data from them, but they would cause annoyances to the theives. The first bug to emerge, is one obscuring the mechs visor, so vision could not be achieved, until removed.
((I am doing zis, az you could not azzume anyzing iz to easy to zteal. I hope, you can appreciate zis?))
Meanwhile, a Corporate transport vehicle had no choice but to pass the Goron army, as it was transporting valuable materials, research equipment, and specialist shipments to Project H. Till couldn't afford to wait for its transportation. Several smaller vehicles and a few mechs accompanied it. _________________ There is a fate worse than death. It is not me, no. But, I can try... |

((I did not make myself clear in what I meant. Such is the busyness of one such as myself.
I would like to have imagined that any letters sent to DM, that they were left unsigned or undesignated as to who sent them.
I do not know how you want to see DM's memory of Father Mac from the orphanage either.
Hopefully, this is slightly clearer?

((Ah I see. Fair enough, the last message of DM had been edited accordingly...))
*Nola finally finds her dagger, while Kalat continues to struggle to let himself out and makes a little progress*
Nola: Nobu, we'll get out of here. It's not fun is it?

*The three mechs close to the three children move forward, each one aiming to pick up them up their nets*
*The mechs in Psychotopia start searching for lifeforms, the defenders which the previous mechs have encountered rather than searching for the damaged mech*
*The 4948 mini-mechs approaching the Goron army spread out a little way, and Laur gives the command to attack. The mechs advance towards the interior of the camp, and begin spraying machine gun fire everywhere*
*Laur sitting at her desk knows Till is watchng, and a second time she indicates the number of troops in the camp being sent via the spy drone. It was 400, 003 and now holding steady* _________________ The shot you hear is the one you don't have to worry about |

Micka stumbled about the small cockpit, trying to find a control panel that still worked. Smoke and the acrid smell of burnt electronics filled the air. Finally, he found one. Wiping the blood from his face, he sat down, and started to punch in commands.
First he examined the damage reports, the ship was still in one piece, but would take months of repairs to fly again. The shield generator was still functional, so he reset the system, and brought the shields back up. Finally, after a few moments of hesitation, he activated the emergency distress beacon. It would broadcast a trackable SOS signal that any suitable reciever in the system would be able to pick up.
Micka slumped back in his chair, and hoped that everything would work out for the best. _________________

"Oh give me a frikin break!" Goron groaned as he heard the gun fire outside his tent. A bullet ripped through the canvas and nearly took his head off.
"Well Asriel, we'll worry about this later, right now we have a situation to take care of. Feel free to join in."
Goron jogged toward the nearest line, barking commands into his comm unit.
"Squadrens Alpha through November fall back to secondary defensive positions. Zulu Squadren provide suppressive fire to cover their retreat."
A squad of Gorons let loose cover fire from concealed positions as the main force fell back toward the conter of the camp. Goron joined them at their post as Zulu Squadren fell back to join the rest of the group. Hidden behind metal blockades, those who could continued firing on the mechs.
"Charlie, Gamma, and Beta Squadrens move up their right and try to outflank them. Shadow, go with them. Rouge Squadren, come with me."
Rouge Squadren was the Goron army's elite soldiers. Only those who had proven themselves time and time again were included. As the three squadrens broke off from the main group and moved up the right flank, Goron took Rouge Squadren up onto an elevated plateu on the left.
"Rifleman Johnson, Private Smith, give us with some cover fire while I take the rest of the squad. If things get ugly, warp yourselves out."
Two soldiers lay down on their stomachs with snipers and began taking shots at the oncoming mechs.
"All remaining Squadrens fall back to tertiary defensive postions," Goron spoke into his comm unit.
The remainder of the army spread out into various parts of the camp or into a series of trenches. Goron took the Rouges down to the left flank and they positioned themselves in various bushes and holes.
By this time Shadow's group had made it onto the right flank and began opening fire on the mechs. The Rouges stayed low to avoid crossfire and began lobbing grenades into the oncoming mechs.
Goron crouched in a bush with his sword drawn, itching for a fight.
((I do realize that this is probablly having little effect on them. You just let me know if laser/bullet weapons do the trick, although I doubt they will. I've a few more ideas before I throw in the towel.)) _________________ ~Goron~

A distant buzzing, like something electronic, tingled in my ears. Holy crap, I though. That can't be good.
RAT-ATAT-TATA-TAT-TAT-RAT-TAT
"Oh give me a frikkin' break!" Goron moaned, on hearing the deafening sound. A bullet tore through the tent, nearly decapitating him.
"CRAP!" I screamed as I threw myself to the ground. "THIS ISN"T COOL!"
"Well Asriel, we'll worry about this later." Goron calmly explained. "Right now we have a situation to take care of. Feel free to join in."
I didn't know where he got his drugs from, but I wanted that supplier’s name, number, and address if I survived this. How calm can someone be when getting their head nearly shot off!?!
I follow Goron as he runs outside, and find a GORON soldier hands me an Uzi.
“Remember – shoot first, ask questions later.â€Â
I debated about discharging a blast into this guy’s face before asking ‘Is there target practise available?’, but shrugged it off.

After moving a good way towards the southern edge of the city, the vision optics on Whiteoak's M.A.V. start to get all static-y, the horizontal hold starts to slant severely to the right and roll around and around top to bottom nauseatingly and then quits working all together.
"Drat!" Whateoak exclaims "Az can you try to find out what that's all about."
(( Till, we didn't think it would be easy, thats why we spent most of one night clearing it, and we found somethings. You no longer have remote control over it, not even the bugs, a few more might crop up, but this can't go on forever. Be creative ))
Whiteoak talks to Obed by way of their two way communications device.
"We've gone blind, give us directions as we keep going. Az will try to clear it up, but we need to keep moving." (Useing telepathy he tells Obed to reverse all directions in case their frequency is being monitored and to shut off the radios when not in use. Then over the radio he tells Obed. "Lets head northwest to team up with Goron." _________________ Nobody knows where you are, how near or how far.

Ah yes, it has been too long child. Rest your wings and walk with me? Pray tell how you have fared over the past many years? You appear to have grown, not only in size, but in strength.
A wonderful creature from the heavans. You, would walk with me wouldn't you?
