((Well, here you go 3kul Wink ))

*Kheesth is once again, back at the Training Dojo. Hopefully this time she wouldn't find a feline who thought of a sea serpent as a water bowl. This time she's picked a large open space, and around the Tezcan and pretty close by flames abound, apparently not fuelled by wood but by magic. This would allow her to keep her energy up, being cold-blooded*

HollowEyes seemed relatively pleased with himself, and he had a good reason to be. He'd just organized a few contracts with various spirits to add to his collection, and he'd also managed to sort out most of his nasty spirit debt problems thanks to a particularily unlucky herd of hairy quadrapeds.

He noticed that he was walking near the Training Dojo, and feeling that it had been a while since he'd actually trained, he decided that now was just as good a time as any to practice with someone. Walking up the hill to the Training complex in question, he spotted the serpent-like being whom he'd seen the other day.

"Ah, I saw you fighting that weird cat the other day. How'd that work out for you?"

He figured that it might be best not to mention how he'd been right there, as the serpentine creature might be annoyed by that, but it was better to be polite and talk to people once in a while than simply point at them and shout 'fight me'.

*If Kheesth had eyebrows she'd have raised them. As it was her species had no need of them, and emotions were relayed through their skin colour. Right now Kheesth was calm, her scales their usual grey-green colour. Her green eyes, protected by large transparent scales which meant she also did not have the ability to blink, watched HollowEyes as he walked and spoke*

The feline? She was difficult, vexing to fight with. How is it you saw the fight? The ground was flooded

*Kheesth said, tilting her head slightly at the Parasitian*

HollowEyes' armblades twisted back and forth a little, as he wasn't quite sure how to answer Kheesth's question. He stopped as soon as he figured out a good enough answer though, and he was fairly sure that Kheesth wouldn't have known how he was feeling.

"I only saw the start of the fight, I left after the flooding started. If I'd stayed, I'd have known the outcome of your little fight and I wouldn't need to ask you about them, now would I?" He said, with a look on his face that was meant to convey goodwill, but probably looked like a grimace (smiling was something he'd yet to get the hang of). HollowEyes waited a little moment, then quickly thought to add "I wasn't being especially stealthy or anything, didn't you notice me at all?"

That last question was meant as a little trick to help his lie. If Kheesth answered that she didn't notice him, which he was sure that she hadn't, she'd be acknowledging her own weakness or his own skill, something which he knew from experience that most people here never did. If she answered that she did, it'd be a lie, but she then couldn't suggest that he was lying either, because she'd have no real evidence. There was no real need for him to lie, but HollowEyes just didn't really feel like telling the truth.

*Kheesth wondered for a little moment about HollowEyes answer, and thought the question over carefully. Her arms pulled the cloak a little tighter around her*

That would make sense

*She deliberately paused before answering the second question, as she was a bit puzzled by HollowEyes facial expression*

I was preoccupied. The feline was confusing, what she led me to believe was a simple spar became something more.

Do the creatures here always deal with newcomers with deceit?

"I wouldn't know, I'm not exactly a local myself." HollowEyes replied whilst frowning a little, noticing the thorns in this serpent's words. "If you feel that the cat was being overly deceitful to you though, perhaps you should confront her about it the next time you see her? I'm told it's usually better to bring these things out into the open rather than bottle them up inside yourself..."

Looking around, he noticed that the surroundings appeared a little stranger than usual, the flames near Kheesth being the strangest of all. "What's all this anyway? Are you training or something?"

*Kheesth bobs her head, so for the for a few moments her neck was higher than her head. The top right of Kheesths four arms unfolded and gestured at the surroundings*

That was the intention. The flames are for my own benefit, Tezca are a cold blooded race. Did you come here to train also? Or are you just passing through?

"Saaaah..." He breathed as he thought for a little moment. "Yeah, I did come here to train. It's been a little while, and I figured I could use the exercise."

Looking around and realizing that there weren't any other opponenets, he turned back to the serpent-like Kheesth. "Since you're here for the same reason, would you mind if we sparred for a little while or something?"

*Kheesth unfolded all four of her arms so her cloak flapped freely in the wind, her scales tinted an almost imperceptible light blue*

I do not mind. Might I ask your name before we begin? I am Kheesth

Jho'Lhak watches from a distance. Already the Tezcan appeared to be showing, and explaining one of her weaknesses. Maybe she was too trusting?

Or was she luring her combator into a trap. What ever she was doing was most certainly a little odd. He hadn't met the being she was battling before. Although, what little ability he had to feel in this region of space, told him that distant traders to his homeworld may have had slight dealings with them.

He could detect an essence of magic eminating from him, (Holloweyes). He would have to find out his name at some point. It was charm magic. A being dedicated to summoning, and one dedicated to charms. This would most certainly be an entertaining fight. More so than the disappointing previous battle.

((Wow, so great that I manage to remember the RPs I take part in... Rolling Eyes Sorry to have forgotten about this one Swix, if you don't want to go with it then I'll leave it alone, I just was sifting through my old posts and managed to find this again Razz))

"HollowEyes suits me fine, as far as the need for a name is concerned."

The Parasitian replied. With a twitch of each armblade, a charm shot out of it's respective pouch and into each hand. Slightly twirling his arms back and forth a little, he waited Tezcan to make the first move.

"I'm ready whenever you are, Kheesth."

((Possibly my shortest post ever... Shocked ))

((Nah, I have no problem bringing back RP's Razz... Now I just have to remember what I was going to use. Oh and aplogise for getting blocked heh))

Very well

*Kheesth takes out a small bag of what appeared to be powder from the many folds of her cloak. This one had a pattern of wind and clouds on it, which Kheesth then dipped a hand inside and removed a large amount of the powder before returning it back to her cloak. This is shared between the two top hands, the ones underneath taking a 'palms up' position below. The Tezca then let the powder trickle between her hands, the blue and white stuff showing the outline of a blue and white bird before the serpent blew into it*

*As the powder leaves her hands it scatters, bands closer together and then scatters again. Apparently leaving the vicinity of the clearing it gets blown by a wind that isn't there high into the sky. As it starts to come back however, the form of a large bird with clouds for feathers becomes apparent, making a beeline for Kheesth. The Air Summons lands just in front of the Tezca, showing that when standing upright with wings closed it was about ten feet tall*

*Kheesth mutters something about showoffs before speaking in her native tongue to the bird. A collection of undulating hisses that seem to melt into each other from one hiss to the next. The Air Summons turns around and regards HollowEyes with a beady eye*

I am ready now

*Kheesth waits. Home etiquette always prevailed with her. HollowEyes had asked for the spar so as far as Kheesth was concerned that meant he got the first move*

((Oh, I get the first move then? Most gracious of you Swix, I'll make sure not to waste it Very Happy))

HollowEyes appeared unfaze by the appearance of Tezca's air summons, though in actuality he was quite amazed. How the creature had come into existance from naught but sand was quite a feat - was the sand similar to his charms? Hard to say, as this looked like quite a high level summon, something which he couldn't quite manage at his current skill level. But appearances could be deceiving - for all he knew, the serpentine being was merely testing him with her initial summoning.

"Alright then, let's get started..."

He stuck two of the charms to the underside of his armblades, and felt his fingers lengthen and sharpen into a two brutal sets of claws. Charm of the Vexing Fox, one of his first charms, and certainly one of the most useful. Digging one of these claws into the ground slightly, he rapidly spun his armblades. Upon doing so, he darted around the bird's right side, using the wheel motion of his arms to grant him additional speed. From the direction he was moving in, it looked like he was aiming to circle the bird and either strike it from behind or go straight for the summoner herself.

The billowing black smog that was eminating from the spot that he'd previous been in was a telltale sign that he'd left at least one of the two remaining charms behind. Charm of the Demonic Squid, another old charm, and one of his personal favourites. It was a fairly basic and obvious trick that he was pulling, but a good one nonetheless, in that it was effective without giving away much about the user's skill level. At the same time, he'd be able to gauge for himself what kind of opponent he was up against.

((Ah, that reminds me. At some point I'm going to have to put somewhere what Kheesths relationship with the Summons is exactly))

*Kheesth hissed a command at exactly the same time as the bird hopped into HollowEyes path, becoming a block between him and Kheesth. It opened it's wings and let loose a strong gust of wind, an attempt to push the parasitian back*

*On the other side, Kheesths colour changed. It became red tinged, she was displeased. If this were a fight were the threat of death should a loss be incurred loomed, she would not be so unhappy. But this was simply a spar, and as a spar should have been treated as one by the Summons*

*Yet she hadn't sparred with this particular Summons for a short while, so she guessed she could understand it's actions. She would have to consult with all of them about this later. In the meantime, Kheesth partly opened her jaw and flexed all four of her arms while the fireballs hovering around her appeared to grow brighter*

HollowEyes rotating armblades were not much of a match for the sudden powerful buffet of wind, and he felt himself lift off the ground against his own will as he was sent sprawling back into a patch of several trees.

However, the moment the avian summon had moved and focused it's attention from him, HollowEyes knew that his trap had more or less succeeded. Whether his opponent hadn't been paying attention or had chosen to call his bluff he wasn't quite sure, but as he was swept off his feet a torrent of lava burst out from the clouds of black smog that had provided cover for his Charm of the Liquid Flames.

Without the bird to block it, the stream of magma was heading straight towards the serpentine summoner.
