Creature Tribes

[Nasari]

On a planet somewhere on the other side of the Milky Way Galaxy, there is a shipwreck. Not the seafaring kind of ship, but the spacefaring kind.

It is the Ark.

The former home of the Norns, Ettins and Grendels, it is now nothing more than a pile of broken glass and twisted metal. When the ship crashed, it destroyed the Grendel Egg Layer and most of the Jungle Terrarium, fortunately for the other Creatures. Thankfully, most of the Creatues aboard the ship survived. They went on to colonize the new planet, and as time passed, they grew more and more intelligent until they achieved true sentience.

The tribes are separated by breed.

The Sunset tribe is made up of ChiChi Norns. They occupy the area around the Ark's wreck. Overall, they are a peaceful tribe, and are excellent cooks.

The Palescale tribe is made up of Draconians with almost white scales. They are cave dwellers and only come out at night, so as to avoid getting severely burned by the sun. They are very hospitable to travelers in their area, as they live in a mountain range far across a large, hot savannah.

The Flameborn tribe is made up of Magmas. Living in the vicinity of a volcano, they love the heat and also love their women. They are the most numerous of the tribes, living wherever there is any kind of heat.

The Bestriped tribe is made up of Bengals. They are exceedingly proud, and like their privacy so much that they walled themsleves off from all other tribes, only accepting Norns of other breeds if they prove themselves first. However, once said Norn has done so, they make them part of their tribe.

The Spotted tribe is made up of Civets. They live right on top of a large gold vein, and are very rich. They will gladly share their wealth with whoever can reach their homeland high on a rocky plateau surrounded by small mountains.

Just pick a tribe, create a bio like mine, and start playing! And standard rules apply. No powerplaying, no godmoding, and all you have is tribal technology and weapons.

Extra: She wants desperately to find the Spotted tribe, as her family is relatively poor.

Tribe: Spotted
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Apperence: Saturn- like all the other girls her age- braids feathers & beads into her hair. She doesn't look like everybody else, though, as her hair is a deep shade of brown and her eyes are yellow.
Family?: None, she was simly found on somebodys doorstep.
Extra: Saturn wants to leave the tribe in which she grew up in and find the place that suits her most, as she feels like an outsider.

"Mamei (mother), Papei (father), I'm going to leave."

"But Moka, why? Did we do something wrong?" her Mamei replied.

"No, Mamei. I am going to find the solution to our poverty. We shall no longer be poor."

"No, Moka. You are not leaving." her Papei stated with an air of finality.

"Yes, Papei, I will leave. You will not stop me. I am doing this to help our family."

"No. I will not lose my only daughter. You are staying right here, Moka."

Moka gave her father an angry glare and stomped out of the hut. She walked to her favorite place to think; The small fish hatchery in the former Ocean Terrarium in the Ark's wreck. She opened the small door and crawled through the tunnel into the room.

She had placed torches full of oil around the room. In the middle she had dug out a hole and filled it with soft furs. This is also where she kept some of her childhood keepsakes, like a blanket that now hung on the wall, a small bird toy, and many other things.

She refilled the oil in the torches and laid down on the furs. They were so comfortable she decided to take a nap.[/url]

"Malia (Mother), it's true what everybody else says, isn't it? I'm not the child of anybody around here, am I?"

"Saturn, my only child, please, don't go off travellimng the land and getting yourself killed!"

"But that's the problem, Malia! I'm not your child, am I? We look nothing alike. I have yellow eyes, everybody else has either blue or green. My hair is a dark brown, while everyone has blomd hair! Tell me, Malia, who exactly was my Daial (Father)?"

Saturn pleaded with her adopted parent to let her go out into the world and find herself a different home with a new tribe which was more like her. She got her way eventuly, but in the process her Malia had started crying.

Tribe: Flameborn
Gender: Male
Age: Just turned 20
Looks: Groovy, Baby. Well-Built in terms of Muscle size (On a scale of 1 to 10, With 10 being Superman and 1 being Monkey, with 5 being average, He ranks up to 6 and a half) and has an intresting hairstyle: A small afro with a mohawk in the middle.
Family?: Dont ask
Extra:Uhm.... Well he likes his bling, And also likes to dance. Also, When/if he asks you to do something like "Come in a cave with him", Just say no.

"So, Pecoo my homie, Now that you are now packed up and old enough to move out of your folk's house, Where are you going to move off to now?" One of his best freinds asks Pecoo

"Aw man, I wish I knew. Thoose Sunset-Tribed chicks sound intrestin', Course it will be quite a long, Long walk to them. What do you think?"

Pecoo's unnamed freind whistles "I have heard tales about 'em. Not only is their food good, But so are the Women. Woo baby..."

"Well in that case, Im off. Cya later, Alligator!" He yells as he goes off into the plains, Off to "Mingle wit da ladies" at the Ark

Tribe: Sunset
Gender: Female
Age: Seventeen, birthday day coming very soon
Looks: Rose is a Chi Ch, however her purple fur is replaced by light blue. Her hair is twice as long than normal and light green. The pink fur on her belly is slightly redder. She carries a brown rucksack of various objects.
Family?: Her mom, dad, brother.
Extra: Rose questions everyone and everything in her head, yet she is shy to others. She usually is found in looking in every nook and cranny in the village. Fetching different rocks, herbs, spices, and almost anything Rose can fit in her rucksack. If you spy on her, Rose studies and test the various samples. Sometimes Rose will find very helpful properties from her work like new recipes or build new tools. With Rose's work and cooking (as a second hobby), she doesn't have that much time for strength and speed.


*Laying in a meadow in one of the remains of the Norn Terrarium, Rose thought of her recipes over and over. This was her relaxing hideout from anyone else. As a added safety feature, Rose made a trap in the entrance of her hideout. If the intruder steps on the leaves, a net would fall on top of them.*

After a 2 long days, Pecoo makes shelter inside a cave. His journy to the ark is almost compleat, as he is halfway to the ark...

Moka woke to the sound of the Saberwolf's howl.

"Dear Gods! I slept through the whole day!"

Frantically, she crawled back through the tunnel and ran home before the Saberwolves found her.

'Papei will kill me!'

When she got home, her Amoyo (little brother) ran out the door.

"Emayo! Emayo!" (older sister)

He ran up and hugged her tightly.

"Emayo.... I thought the Saberwolves got you! Oh, and Papei's in the house. You better go talk to him, he feels real bad."

Moka walked into the house, preparing for the worst.

[Jent]

*After two days of working, Rose left the haven and skipped to her house. At the door, her older (twenty years old) brother Bronze was hauling a huge net of fish.*

"Welcome home Rose, how are your inventions coming along?"
"I found a found a new type of tree. It looks exactly like the common ones on the outside, but on the inside, the wood is much stronger than any other in the area."
"That's good, I'll be needing a new fishing pole." *Placing the net down, he shows Rose his broken fishing pole. They both laugh.*
"I almost caught a giant grume, it tugged so hard it is stole half of it. That fish would have been tasty, maybe next time I would have better results next time. Anything else Rose?"
"Well I created small smoke bombs. There still beta, but each are the size of a marble, can cover up to five yards around the target point." *The two siblings enter the house, greeted by their father Ryusa.*

"Hello kids, I'm off to get more wood for the extra hut. Oh Bronze, I need to tell you some thing." *The men walk outside, so Rose can't her them.*
"Do you remember Rose's birthday is in three days from now?"
"Yes father, the decorations are almost ready. Just need the food, I got the snacks down."
"Good my son, I'll get the food. You stay here and train more." *Ryusa walks into the woods, going to catch something tasty.*

*Rose went to her room, dumping all of her scrolls and keys on her bed. Sorting all of them in her cabinets, but dropping the keys back in her ruck sack.*

[Nasari]

"Papei?"

Moka walked into the room her parents shared. Her Papei was sitting on the bed, his head down.

"Papei, I'm sorry I ran awa-"

"No. Don't be. I'm the one who should be apologizing."

"Why?" asked Moka.

"I was so scared I would lose you, so scared I would never see you again, I was willing to prevent you from helping our family. Now I can't see any little bit of sense in that."

"Papei, I'm nineteen now. I need to see the world." stated Moka.

"I agree with that. I know you won't die or anything. The only likely thing to happen is you'll make us very proud."

"Thank you. I'm leaving at sun-high-up (noon) tomorrow."

"Good. Now, you need all the rest you can get for a journey like the one you'll take tomorrow. I suggest you go to bed."

"I will. Good night, Papei." Moka walked out of the room to the one she and her brother shared.

"Good night, Moka."

[Jent]

*Bronze sat inside his room, stretching and yawning. Some days he stays up all night training for combat. High powered kicks and rapid punches bombarded the dummy sack. Everyday he trains no matter what unless on a few days. No man has beaten him when he was 19 years old, not he his own father.

Bronze walks outside in the moonlight, then flops on the dewy grass. He falls asleep*


*Rose stays up all night like her brother, but she just reads her scrolls. Each one were blueprints for one of her inventions, but the maps under her bed contain star charts and maps. Along with a few lists. She peeks out of the widow, spotting Bronze easily. Smiling she drops on her bed and falls asleep.*


*The children's mother Meadow sleept with her husband in the double wide bed. He caught several rabbits, turkeys, and a few other animals. The couple knew Rose's birthday party is almost here, planned during a full moon.*

Saturn wated until she was sure that her adopted parent was asleep before she silently clambered out of bed and dressed herself in clothes that not only ept her warm but allowed her to climb. Saberwolves didn't scare her as she had out-run one when she was a child.

She gabbed her spear and wrote a quick note to everybody saying she'd be back after a few days. She did this at least once every 2 months, sometimes she went out at least once a fortnight if she felt the need to do so. This time she would simply be confirming to them that she was able to join them.

She leapt up rocks that others in her tribe would find near impossible to clear,and at last stopped with a smile on her face "Stig! Bowiaha !" She called out and two norns came to greet her by giving her a brief hug. "Saturn! We have been waiting for you to visit. Come, come, the rest of the clan are waiting for you."

And with that, the three norns jumped and climbed into the darkness.

Finally in visible range of both the crashed Ark and Saturn, Pecoo rushes over to the Chi-Chi girl on the rocks.

Pecoo trys to chase Saturn, Not knowing that she is a Chi-Chi, And attempts to yell for directons....

((DLM, Saturn is nowhere near the ark, and she's not a chichi! She's in the small mountains around the plateau, and she's a technicly a civit. Next time, please READ the other posts first. Do you understand now why I removed you from the Guild of Norn Role-Play?))

Saturn swallowed up the soup handed to her in the tribes cave before she looked around and gave her news to them. She was with friends, a small group of norns who had evolved from several clans into their own breed, each one having left since they had been so different to their own tribe.

The breed they had become had been influenced by every clan in a way. Most members had developed raher dark wings to make them more adgile, and darker hair to help them to ientify who was a part of their clan. The clan itself was the Airborn, and liked the name a lot.

"Saturn, it is good news that you are able to join us. But as your news has greatly cheered us up, we have news that may take away your happy spirits. Saturn... the clan on a whole has decided it would be best for us to move into the plains, as there is more food that we can capture there. Sleep well, Saturn, we are moving in three days time. "

Saturn was quite as she heard the news, and let herself be comforted by Bowiaha. They shared an almost sister-like relationship and, as Bowiaha said "We are sisters in every way apart from in blood.".
