Anyways, this'll all new to me. I've been roleplaying three years, yet never stepped from my original board. Little overwhelmed to be honest in the difference... I'm used to roleplays that have about a minute in the difference of posts. It would be great if someone could give me some pointers... Razz

*Hug tackles* Again... LAAAAAZY. But love, it's quite simple. Take your time on posts, relax, find your way around. I mean, look at me darling. I haven't even joined a rp and I was one of the oldest members xD The wilds are where most major Rp's are started. If you want you should post in one that has at least 5 pages. That way it's still rather new and it's almost a sure fire good rp to get you a medal from!

The wiki also has details on some of our other features, such as our store system, services, etc.

Please be sure to post a character profile in the Hall of Records. The Challenge Arena will also be a place of interest, as it is for duels and competition.

I hope you have a good stay here- just make sure to watch out for the infamous mutant chickens. Everyday is breeding season to them.... o.O

And as I said in your character profile, due to us having similar interests (drawing manga... um... Naruto? Wait, I said that...) I think we shall get along fine. ^^

I always warn the new members, and you are no exception- 3kul has a habit stealing panties, so keep an eye on him. ...I should probably stop saying this... Razz

Welcome to Blackstar. We don't really go for the speed Role Play here (although it is not unheard of), so use the extra time between posts to make your writings detailed and unique.

I don't just speed roleplay, I slow roleplay at times. Smile

This could be difficult now that I look at it...
Don't mean to cause any offence, but a lot of the roleplays are too tied down for me. I'm used to being extremely varied with my roleplaying... also my one character could be difficult... but I'll just have to adapt I guess.

This is all probably quite overwhelming, this RP board has lots of roots and new stuff from other boards, so just try to relax and don't give a toss on what you know, it'll come soon enough.

Raven and Goron mentioned medals, they're the little images under people's profiles, they are awards for participating in RPs. Very Happy

We're free-form roleplay. Gods, spirits, monsters, freaks, mutants, robots, genetically enhanced beings, businesses, gaurdians, evil council, horses, snakes, owls. To say the least. We're really quite varied compared to most sites and I've visited a few before.

Tri, welcome!~

I believe we met at least once, through Raven. Nice to see you here. As my fellow Dojodians have pointed out, we're freeform. You can be anything you like, and do anything you wish, so long as it's not powerplaying.

Powerplaying? That's simple - forcing actions on other characters to their detriment. Sorta like... "Pow! I HIT YOU YOU"RE DEAD!!!!" Yeah. Please don't do that. I know you won't. :3 Bulloxes everyone's fun, you know.

Anyways, if you have questions or a problem, you're welcome to PM an Admin (me, usually, or DP, if it's a techy problem) or one of the Mods. All very easy to spot! The Adimins have the shiny Gold Dragons, the Mods, Silver Dragons.

Plenty of informative stuff can be found in the Wiki. And don't worry about belts and such right now if you don't want to - they are optional, but fun and snazzy! Wink

If you're feeling a bit out of sorts, the Training Dojo is an excellent place to start - plenty of other students to play with, and patient teachers too if you don't feel ready for a full on RP, Blackstar style. However, the best way to learn in my experience is to jump right in with both feet.

Tri, I think you should know that Panther has a nickname around here, she's better known as the 'master propagator of lies and slander'. Also she eats live children, you probably shouldn't listen to the crazy lies that she's constantly spouting, like some kind of mystical fountain of deceit. Perhaps if she looks in the money filled briefcase behind her she'll change her ways, I'm not sure.

Anyways, that stuff aside, you get a second welcome from me Tri (that's a 2-for-1 special Very Happy
