Its a cold late afternoon in the village of Riverdale, the people are going home to rest, or to find entertainment. Suddenly there is a flash, lightning splits the heavens open followed by the loud boom of thunder. It rains, the kind of thick heavy rain that pommels your flesh and stings your eyes, and is so cold that it burns. It always seems to rain here, none of the humans here seem to care, after all.... its just a little water.


Outside the village to the west is a large River that seems angry, then to the south and east there is a dark, foreboding forest, it is said that only fools and hunters ever enter the forest, local superstition tells of a demon that lurks within the trees, feasting on the bones of any that it finds. Also lurking within the forest are wild animals, and several swamps. To the north there are plains, planes that run doe several miles before turning into the mountains from which the river flows, these plains are mostly used for farmland.


Rin yawns deeply as he steps out of his room in the back of the River's End Tavern. He had been staying there for several days now due to a mission he recently accepted in the area..... however after last night his mission, regardless of importance had become irrelevant. At a slow pace Rin makes his way down, through the crowd of people to a table in tavern area of the inn and sits down. He glances up at Yoshi and smirks. "hay, how long have you been here for?" he says with a soft laugh. "i hope i didn't make you wait to long"
