A Labful of Silver

*A wandering human wuth dark hair and eyes starts to explore an underground bunker. It reminded her of a safe place she'd once known, and coming across a room large enough for her liking Az deposits her Silmites in a small container, as well as rather large quantity of silver. An MMG and an MDBSG slung over her back, the human walks back to the door and sprays it with sticky silver dust before closing it*

*The human then makes her way over to a small table, getting out several small instruments from the pockets of her grey clothing as well as a sort of... microscope*

*Whatever she's doing would be really hard to see*

Silmites:

How Silmites Look:

With the naked eye, a group of Silmites will look like a pulsing silver blob. Put one under a microscope however, and you will see mechanical creatures resembling four legged spiders. They will also have a set of 'pincers' at the front, used for cutting up and collection of silver as well as repairing and building other nanobots.

How Silmites Work:

Silmites are nanobots, as stated in my profile. Specifically created by me to remove silver from species who sccidentally got harmed by any of my silver attacks. These nanobots are themselves, made completely out of silver.

They're triggered when a box is opened or broken, and will actively sek out sources of silver for a limited time and will return to the box afterwards.

During the collection process, Silmites will construct and repair other Silmites out of the precious metal. So depending on how much silver is around, you may find you need a bigger box.

Each small group of Silmites has it's own collective signal, used to keep 'in touch' and inform other Silmites of the location of silver and possible danger to them (eg. a Silmite finds another Silmite destroyed or damaged, and emits a 'danger' signal to the others).
