Cloud vs. Addman

[Cloud]

((One on one fight between Addman and I. If anyone interferes you shall suffer someone's wrath. I should have thought out that threat a little more...))

*Cloud and Addman circled each other, both eyes filled with malice and rage. The whole thing started when Cloud let a battle monkey loose right next to Addman, ripping quite a lot of his blue fur off. For revenge purposes Addman had thrown Cornelius at Cloud and had nearly gotten him killed in the process. (Cornelius, not Cloud that is. ).

Both competitors each did things to the other to exact some sort of revenge. This went on for about a month until one day when Addman and Cloud got a strange letter. They both read:

"You are a winner, come to the Challenge Arena immediately to claim your prize."

As they both stepped into the arena at different sides they realised they had been tricked. Shutters went down on every exit.*

Well, well if it isn't Addman the stupid. I'm going to get you back after that last stunt you pulled.

*Cloud didn't want to discuss what Addman had done but it must have been pretty bad since even the wall slime usually finds out about all of Cloud's problems. Not this problem though. Drawing his sword slowly for added effect, Cloud lunged at Addman.*

((Your move ))

*Addman was ready for an attack such as this one, bringing his scimitar upwards in an arc and deflecting Cloud's attack. He took a couple of steps backwards, giving himself chance to address his new opponent*

Cloud, you shall pay for that prank where you set my head in a jelly when I was sleeping. I wouldn't have minded so much if you hadn't invited 50 starving children to an impromptu birthday party in my quarters. The spoons entered places that I'm not proud of, and for that, I'm gonna kill you!

*And with that, Addman gripped his blade tighter in malice as he swung it wildly in three successive swipes at Cloud's person, not paying much attention to where he was aiming, just trying to score a hit in a vengeful fury.*

[Cloud]

*Cloud side stepped these vengeful attacks very easily. It seemed that Addman was filled with so much malice that his normal accuracy had decreased a lot. Cloud conjured up some wind and threw it in Addman's direction. At the same time he also thrust his blade at him, hoping to confuse Addman with two totally different moves.*

*As Cloud pulls his hand to throw the wind attack at Addman, the muppet, realising his opponent was about to attack in some way, attempts to leap to the side to dodge it. In mid air, Addman is caught by the gust of wind, and blown backwards towards the arena wall, narrowly avoiding Cloud's blade but being sent spiralling off towards the side.

As he approaches the wall, he twists through the air, making sure his feet are nearest the barrier, and then uses it as a spring board once he gets close enough, effectively leaping off the wall and back towards Cloud just as quickly. As he does this, he spins his body with his blade outstretched in one hand, creating a spin attack similar to a helicopter propeller*

[Cloud]

*Cloud withdrew one of his short swords while holding his main sword in one hand as Addman gets close. He starts to slice the air with both swords one after the other hoping to batter Addman's attack by sheer luck and his constant attack.*

*Their blades rattled together with a constant steel shudder, but it seemed that neither had landed a single blow on each other by the time Addman had stopped spinning. He checked his opponent for gashes or even scratches, but not a single one had appeared. His googly eyes, still spinning from the assault, came to halt as he shook his head from side to side, resuming their original off-centred look*

Lucky!

*The muppet muttered under his breath as he pulled out a cookie grenade*

No doubt you know what this is, Cloud! Let's see how well you can dodge attacks that you cannot see!

*And with that, Addman threw the grenade to the floor near Cloud.*

[Cloud]

*The grenade exploded in powdery goodness as it made contact with the ground.*

Damn you and your cookies Addman!

*Cloud cursed loudly. He threw out his short sword he was holding hoping to hit a target but it was more in anger than anything else. After, he back flipped out of the cookie dust as quick as he could. He didn't want any nasty surprises appear inside the dust.*

*Gabriel sights the two warriors and since he has been gone for such a long time he decides to begin by gaging what addmans skill has made of him, not to mention clouds...*

"This rock seems acceptable"

*Gabriel seets himself on a rock and camoflauges himself to mimic the rocks colour and appropriate shape*

[Cloud]

((It's just a run of the mill short sword, no powers whatsoever. I still have another one anyway. ))

*Cloud brought up his blade in defence as the googly eyed monster lashed out. Addman's weight and the force of gravity prevailed making Cloud lose his balance. His sword was now stuck between Addman's weapons. Breaking his spirit form from his body Cloud threw a lightning bolt towards Addman hoping to catch him unawares. The battle just got turned up a notch. *

*The jolt hit Addman square in the chest. Taking the brunt of Cloud's attack, Addman was flung backwards into the cookie crumb cloud, still shaking as he was coming to a halt. The attack hurt him pretty bad, but after regaining his motor skills a couple of seconds later, he pulled himself up to his knees*

"I forgot about his spirit form. I must be getting sloppy since I started getting the steroid-free cookies" He thought to himself.

*Taking the opportunity the crumby cover had afforded him, Addman flung the short sword back in Cloud's direction, hoping more to distract him for the time being. Holding out his blade in the other hand, he began to channel as much energy as he could into the very tip*

[Cloud]

((Since my spirit form has appeared you will have to specify which Cloud you are going to attack. People seem to forget that my body is still there. ))

*Cloud ordered his body to sidestep the oncoming blade. It gashed his arm slightly, he knew he was going to feel it once he returned to his body. Now watching Addman channeling energy Cloud was wondering what was going to happen next. Lightning suddenly flicked through the air, Cloud was summoning up a great strike.*

*Before Cloud could finish his charge, Addman's was complete. Releasing it, the muppet allowed the energy to fly off the tip of his blade and towards Cloud's uninhabited body in a large plume of energy.*

[Cloud]

*Cloud's body was hit. Cloud had no way of controlling his body at all since he was too focused on his lightning strike. The body flew across the arena with incredible force. After this impressive feat the lightning began thundering down on the ground where Addman was standing.*

*Lightning began to rain down, striking the ground around the arena with such force that each jolt left small, smouldering craters in the earth in their wake. Deciding he didn't want to be on the recieving end of one of these shocks, Addman was forced out from the cover of the cookie shroud (which was dissipating anyway due to the lightning strikes) and darted in a bee line towards his spirited opponent, keeping his head down as though it was going to significantly reduce the chance of him being hit.*

CLOUD! Stop this trickery and let's finish this!

*The muppet charged forwards, narrowly avoiding another lightning jolt by sheer fluke. He decided that no lightning bolts would strike the ground directly underneath Cloud, so he skidded to a halt directly below him. In an attempt to stop the assault, Addman leaped as high as he could, swiping at his enemy with his sword*

((I'm guessing that physical attacks won't bother you in your spirit form, but Addman doesn't know that, so he might as well try))
