My Made-up Alien Race Characters

If you need any info on the races, just look in the Genetic Repository. I have threads for the two I am going to be using for now. I may come up with more.

Name: Reyeka, goes by Reya

Age: 16

Alignment: Good

Description: She has orange eyes, yellowish-brown tentacles, and a butterfly-shaped birthmark on her right cheek. She is an artistic kind of girl, but she is also a good fighter.

Species: Ormag

Equipment: A sketchbook, a pencil, a camera, and a gold sword, which is a family heirloom. The eye on the hilt supposedly watches over the family. It is painted in the family's colors.

History: Like all Ormag children, she started school as soon as she had a big enough vocabulary to say a complete sentence. She was the school's "art nerd" and many children were jealous of her ability. When she was nine, she wrote the poem "Look to the Rising Sun". She also won many art competitions, so many, in fact, that the judges asked her not to compete because it was a no-brainer that she would win after her twelfth blue ribbon in a row. Now she draws, writes, and composes songs just for the fun of it.

Since there were no sons born in her family, the sword "Marnrist" went to her. Her father trained her in the art of swordplay for several years until she surpassed even him. She prefers swords to guns because she, like nearly all Ormag, is a traditionalist when it comes to war. She refuses to use, quote, "that noisy monstrosity" even when hunting.

Reya has a weapon called a Raptor Claw.

The claw is attached to a band, which goes around the wrist of her jaw tentacle. The claw itself is made of an aluminum-iron alloy, making it strong but light. She made it herself by painstakingly cutting a block of the aforementioned metal, and tanning leather of dragonskin. The band is almost indestructible.
