Description and Physiology
Fairly tall male human, slighty olive skin. Reasonably muscular, but not likely to even enter a World's Strongest Man competition. Fairly short black hair, thin glasses, mild stubble.

Physical Abilities
His complete abilities are unknown, but he seems to show ability in athletism, capable of getting up to a fast top speed and maintain it without running out of energy.

Supernatural Abilities
None known.

Weaponry
10 centimetre blade that folds out from handle. Thick but not practical for fighting. Used more for cutting through nature than through thugs.

Customised 9mm pistol, engraved with symbols that he does not recognise, along with a series of numbers in a non-standard character script on the base of the gun. Bullets are not round based but octagonal and thus harder to obtain.

Equipment
Khaki jeans, well worn. Dark green long sleeved shirt with a tan sports jacket over the top. Rubber white shoes resembling the Converse shoes of 21st century Earth, despite having never knowingly visited said planet. Holsters for knife and gun. Pilots a worn out spaceship, incapable of hyperspace activity and with failing sublight engines. Very slow speed compared to all modern ships, but has been fitted with a stasis field to compensate for the speed.

Origin
Ruro was found wandering along a beach on the planet Oragionsa, a largely uninhabited planet with permanent sunlight due to existing in the centre of 4 suns in a galaxy fuelled with war. The planet was inhabited by humans at one point, but as far as Ruro can remember there were little more than scientists and army bases left on the planet due to warnings of a supernova in the suns, the effect of which would not only burn half the planet, but cause a gravity ripple, forcing the planet into one of the remaining suns. Scientists remain to study and the military had bases due to it's ideal location for assaults on neighbouring planets.

Home
Techlon-F-Gamma-7, the moon of a dying planet. It takes a month in stasis to reach Dojopolis, so Ruro intends to stay for a year at a time unless the ship can be fixed.

History
Five years ago is the furthest Ruro can remember. He doesn't even know what his true name is, he was given it by the scientists that took him in when they found him. He has no idea why he was on Oragionsa, but he was found wandering on the beach with just the clothes on his back and his gun. He believes the symbols and numbers on the gun are clues to him as to who he is and why he no longer remembers his life.

He left the planets 6 months ago as the planet was finally abandoned due to the impending supernova of all four suns, which was the result of enemy military experiments to cause all the suns to explode at once, in the hope of creating a worm hole. The experiment was a success and a worm hole was formed. Ruro left on the last ship, which got caught in the explosion. The shields were destroyed, as was part of the ship, killing all but Ruro and two others. The three of them were able to configure the nanobots to repair the ship, but they were unable to finish before coming under attack. The two other scientists were killed, one of whom was Ruro's love, Yuri. Ruro managed to get the nanobots into the ships weapons, and fired them at the enemy ships, configured to alter the ships engines. The ships were disabled and the blast from the supernovas destroyed them, whilst Ruro managed to just get away. However, the newly formed worm hole had such a pull, the ship was sucked into it and propelled to elsewhere in the universe. The ship just about managed to survive as the remaining nanobots had been able to reactivate the shields. But to do so in such speed rendered them inert afterwards, and the engines failed upon arrive through the worm hole, which then caused a sonic blast, shooting the ship away and towards the nearby planet system. At this point Ruro passed out.

Now Ruro has spent the time doing odd jobs attempted to repair the ship, and parts of it have been a success. Much work still needs to be done, but Ruro knows he needs to work faster and needs more money to do so. As such he has decided to look for better work and has headed out into the galaxy, out of his current home.

Alignment
Ruro tended to do what he felt was right, what was fair, what was just. Occasional moments of anger surface when reminded of Yuri, but he has never harmed an innocent being.

Personality
A fairly quiet type, Ruro has longed for the desire to find out more about himself, why he was on Oragionsa, what the symbols on his gun represent, and why he remembers nothing in the first place. Although he was previously a fairly sociable, since the death of Yuri and the loss of the people who took him in, he became more reserved. Now though, he believes his life has a purpose, and that he must find out, and the Dojopolis may be the place to look.

Known weaknesses
Does not let people in easily, finds it hard to make friends with people since his higher concern is finding out who he is. Also gets carried away with things very often.

Allies
None, he knows very few people on more than work terms. Would consider one of the few other inhabitants of his home moon, Jeffa Grenald, his closest friend. Jeffa is an old mutant who has lived for 200 years and saw the planet below go from prosperity to collapse to death. He is wise though, and helps Ruro craft parts for his ship and bullets for his gun. Has an illness that plagues him occasionally, rendering him bedridden for days on end. The medicine success rate is failing, and it is believed to be a genetic strain causing a cancer like illness.
