Opening Ceremonies

*The Sensei steps up to a podium amid a volley of cheers from the packed stadium. Behind him, and to the left, sits the three other judges, plus an empty chair for him. To his right, sits about 30 competitors waiting for the games to begin. About him, hanging in the air above the stadium, sits a giant bowl, filled with what one would presume to be fuel of some sort. DP clears his throat as the cheers finally settle down*

We have come here to observe a glorius new tradition. For the next few weeks, we'll be watching spectacles of strength, intellegence, agility, and wisdom, as these people behind me, both the judges and the competitors, take part in this great challenge.

For the Competitors, the next few weeks will be a trying time. Their bodies and minds will be tested, both by what the enviroment has to throw at them, and what their opponents will strike with.

Some of these competitors have chosen to be lone wolfs in the Individual Tournement. They will go through a grueling chain of one on one battles, displaying their strengths, and showing us all their weaknesses. No doubt we will be moved by each and every match.

Others have chosen to form small, tight-knit groups. These people will be competing in the Tag Team Tournement. They'll show us wisdom and knowledge in when they choose to defer a fight to their partner, and when they choose to stay and fight themselves.

Then we have the precision combos and the timed attacks of the Team Tournement. With glory for their home factions on the line, this fight shall be one for the ages. I just don't want to be the loser when he returns to his home board.

And then we shall witness the wisdom and knowledge of the Judges. We have a tough road ahead, trying to find the best of the best from among these people. You have selected your judges for their skill and mastery. Let it serve them well.

And what is the outcome from all this? I will give each winner in all categories three things. First, I will Give them a medal, signifying that they were the best of the best in the Olympics. Second, I will grant them a place in the Master's Guild, where they can expand their skill with other masters of their level. And the third, and probably most important prize: a hunderd Gerbils, with which they can expand their arsenal of weapontry. A prize worth fighting for.

And who is fighting for these treasures? Let me introduce our Gladiators.

First, for the individual Competition, we have the following Champions:

Churitsu, Naine, Colator, Micka, Father Mac, Ace Addman, Little Sister, Masamura, Forte Kassato, Magusmagus, and Sirus.

Next,we have the Competitors of the Tag team Tournement:

Sora and Masamura, Embri and Angel, Cirrial and Churitsu, Father Mac and Azaria, Addman and Holloweyes, and GBE and Fade.

Finally, we have the teams forming our team competition. We have four teams competing.

For the Evil Council's team, we have 3kul, Netdriod9, Shaon, and Ruster

Representing the Guardians, we have GBE, Goron40, Whiteoak, and Sekhmet.

For our home, Blackstar, we have Cirrial, Leporidea, and Trot84.

And last, but not least, representing the Corporation are Laur Wilkins, Micheal Rawlings, and Till Doyle, all in their battle Mechs.

So, Gladiators, fight hard, for your opponent will be trying just as hard. Judges, proceed with wisdom and integrity. And Spectators, Cheer and support these people, both in victory and defeat, for they are Your Champions. I Now Declare the RP Olympics Open!

*with the resounding echo of DP's last word still in the stadium, thunder rings out as lightning strikes the bowl, lighting the fuel on fire, signifying the Competition is now on*
