We're goin to the Olympics!

Hooray! DP has granted us permission to enter a Guardian team into the RP Olympics!

Who wants to go? We have a four person limit, so everyone who wants to go volunteer and then we can pick the best four RPers.

Not sure, but we might also need a judge.

1 Rule: You cannot be joined on any other team (of course), so you ECers please make your choice. And I mean users cannot join two teams, all your characters must pick a side.

I wish to enter Firefly into the olimpics team. And possible Leporidae and Feline too.

I'd be interested in having Whiteoak and Obed take part, but as I have not participated before I would also like to know just what this entails.

Where do I find the rules and a description of what goes on and how it is conducted. and Where does the contest takes place, so I can read back tournaments for strategies and standard procedures.

I go back to work tomorrow after a six month medical leave, and my RP time will be more limited.

The contests take place here. They were at another forum, but something happened to that. I think everything of those first battles was lost, but here are the tryouts from Gameware. They should give you the basic idea.

Ok, rule 9 was for the individual tournement, I'm writing up a modified set of rules for the team tournement today.

You are allowed to have four character's per team, as to keep it even among all teams,

however, in the individual tournement, your allowed to have mutliple character's enter, but they must compete on their own, i.e. you can't have Whiteoak and Obed go in together for the individual tournament.

Also Shadowviel, even if you do not enter the individual tourney, you'll still need to join said group.

The teams are EC, GW, and Blackstar. We have not annouced our team yet. Also DP has messed with our heads again. One character per person in the teams.

Since we only get four characters, then I'd like to enter Whiteoak into the nominations.

Considering my time constraints now that I am back to work, and the fact that I really want to get into these olympics somewhere (I'd prefer here), I would hope we select a team soon enough so that if someone doesn't make this team they still have time to register somewhere else. I don't want to be in more than one category, so I'm going to wait until we decide.


(I wonder,... ? if we get eight nominees, can we register 4 as "the Guardians" and then, four more, as, say, another group, like maybe, the More Evil Guardians? don't take me seriously)
