The Corporation

If I have realized anything, nothing stimulates and unifies a new forum like a grand RP against a common enemy.

The Dojo's Enemy will be The Corporation, a group of people who are bent on developing the land The Dojo sits on. The main agents of this change? Amethyst Lightbulb spitting Horses. Why, because I'm me.

I'll be posting the start of this RP soon, so just keep your eyes open.

Ever heard of Charlie Jade, DP? Excellent TV series. The idea of the Corporation's attempts to take over reminds me of the series' main body of villians, Vexcor Inc.

We (as in Danikat and I) started out with the horses, a joke come back as a plausible idea. Then we tried to figure out the characteristics of the person who would create something like that. We came up with Rich, Annoying, and Smart. This either described some kind of Uber-geek, or a Corporation. You can guess which one we went with.

Am I supposed to be reading this? I wasn't awear of beocmming a mod or anything.

I seem to remember the horses having another ability as well as spitting light bulbs. I probably need more sleep to remember what exactly that was though.

Yes, same here... don't remember being bestowed with moderator abilities, and if I haven't, then certainly I shouldn't be here. Mind I'm leaving now and not headed back, but I thought someone of import should know that I've opened a door in the dojo that I think is supposed to be locked. :p

No, both You and Danikat are part of the group "Admins, Mods, and Entrusted"...which grants you access to this place

Edit: probably should say why I've added Treesprite and Brayen in particular. Quiet frankly, they have more experience at this, and I was hoping to get a few pointers...maybe even encourage them to become mods

One of my characters owns an huge corporation, Mr. Hyameo... Well, he's always in it for the best deals, but he does take kindly to good projects... Anyways, just wondering if you'd want him backing the Dojo at all? Financing materials, food, clothing, machinery, research, and stuff... Or be the holding company of the corporation foolishly blind to what they're doing?

Just an idea......

But should be a fun rp.... Very Happy

Well, actually, DP is the ruler of a small (yet VERY wealthy) Country called Psychotopia...he Probably won't be needing financial backing.

I'd also be willing to contribute some of the profits from Danikats hitherto unmentioned ((aka just thought up)) side-buisness in obsidian jewllery (she has an entire island made of the stuff and armadillos can be suprisingly good craftsmen) and plastic explosives.

Actually just contributing the plastic explosives themsleves may be useful.

But even if the financial aid isn't required Mr. Hyameo's company may be useful for providing us with material. Esspecially if they're willing to discount for bulk sales.

Oooh, I know of two perfect bad guys to either run, or be involved in the running of The Corporation... Just an idea, because they are quite inherently evil and corporative... lol...

Well, sign them up, then have them join the Corporation. Micheal is feeling awefull lonely
