But I have some suggestions...

A suggestion board? So Shaon and I don't have to be spamming up the General Chat with posts like this...

AND... a board that's open only to non-mods... You guys have your Meeting Hall... we should have a... tavern... where we can plot rebellions and such.

AND... not sure how possible this one is... but GW has a thing that lets you see what every member is doing... I'm also not sure how creepy this one is...

A board like that Tavern would not be safe. If someone tried to insult you, and you brought it to the mods, there would be no evidence that you have been insulted!

Also you'll need a Mod for the board anyway and when that happens you'll be kicked out the tavern.

Speeder's right, although I don't think it's unreasonable for there to be a special area for individual groups.

The Flock, the EC and a few others all have their own section - if you can make a big enough group, you could probably get your own little corner of the forums to plot away in.

Excellent! I've been missing that feature. Really, I don't think it's creepy - it's more like having eyes, so you can track down where someone is in a crowded room, instead of blundering about blindly.

Code goes in PHP files, HTML in tpls. It keeps it easier to fix in case something busts something.

Not that I'm saying you will Wink

Also, it's nice to keep to the smallest number of tpls possible really. So far, all my PHPBB modifications have totalled to 1 TPL file. (And we don't use that mod yet, because it's not done) Although I will be making a second for the same thing.

That's just some general guidlines I've made for PHPBB Modders. I think it's quite sensible, don't you?
