(Race) Morphffers

To describe the Morphffers, I need you to imagine every species of animal on the planet, and their close genetic cousins. Now place those attributes from each species range into humanoids. You've got a basic example.

Age varies according to their species, clan and sub-species. Some age rapidly and die 'young'. Some age slowly die after 40 plus years. Because of their humanoid nature, they are able to live up to at least 10 years in lesser species, and 300 in the greater species.

Clans:

Each clan has their own species range, for example: Amphibians, Reptilians, Avians, Mammalians, Aquatics etc...

But there are far more if you look at sub-species. The highest ranking clans consist of those within their own specific clan.

However, there are several clans that have spent hundreds of years cross-breeding with other clans to gain the best of all clans. It's a long drawn out process.

For example, an Avian may mate with an Arachnid, then further down the line with an Aquatic, in the hope of becoming expert air and land predators, and able to spend large amounts of time in seas and rivers.

Breeding:

Each clan and sub-species have rigid mating rituals, but no qualms of who they mate with, providing the desirable genes.

Offspring:

Offspring who gain the best of any successful mating ritual are normally highly praised, and trained effeciently and quickly in their choices.

Those who have the worst of a mating ritual (such as slow, lethargic and requiring large amounts of food) are normally left for predators to consume from other clans. If they have a specific gene however that is desirable, they will be pampered until they are no longer useful.

Political Climate:

There is currently an on-going war that has been fought for over 100 years now. It was originally the Avians who began the war by trying to claim land that was already owned, and killing those who owned it, after forcefully mating with them.

The war has caused strange alliances. However, alliegiances change on a weekly basis. It gets so that some allies are enemies with an ally's ally. Many who are fighting do not know who is their enemy at all times.

Solar System:

There are a few planets, some areas similar to others, however, there are some major differencs between most of them.

Home: This is the name given for where the original humans lived. It is a planet extremely similar to Earth, with various areas such as deserts, swamps, oceans and forests. The humans are the most primitave amongst all of the planets.

Oceanic: This is a world almost consisting solely of water. There are some random islands. The centre of this planet is a giant metallic meteorite, with sediment and other sand/rock based grains. Deep underwater is a dome like city system for those who can breath normal air. These are the most technologically advanced species.

Solast: This is a desert planet, with three major forests that seem to have a supply of water. The eco-system is extremely delicate. There are some cities on this planet, many based high up on the edges of rock edifaces. Avians mostly inhabit this planet, alongside desert reptilians. The avians are both artistic and warlike. Avians are the most well balanced, able to fight, and utilise technology. They are the most feared of species bar one.

Primus One: This is the first of the jungle planets. Mostly tropical with soaring heats and exotic wild-life. Mostly the amphibious and reptilian can be found here. The amphibious species are just above normal humans for technological level.

Primus Two: Primates of different kinds inhabit this planet as well as Home. The greater mass of life here belongs to the bug-like and arachnids.


(The clans are spread across the planets, not confined to their selected environments. This allows for a slow natural evoloution, as well as cross-breeding evoloution. All of them are highly advanced, past the levels of humans with technology.

They have mastered a galactic teleport system, with a 10 day return period. However, it requires an opening on the planet they wish to travel on, which can lead to miscalculations, or certains warp portals and other portals drawing travellers into them.

They have various spaceships and fighter ships. The war is slowly destroying each of the homeworlds.

The Morphffers are not like normal humans or morphers. Their ability to morph is decided upon by their training, age and clan. They also have an higher IQ.

Also, all Morphffers have an in depth ability to determine, manipulate genetics. It's slowly becoming a trait passed on to all offspring, although, its full effects are several generations down the line yet, technology is still required.)

Religion:

There is no set religion, they don't even think about God's or spirits. They just see everything as nature. Someone is born, they live, they consume, they die and give something back to the planet.

Their morals are fairly limited, allowing them to abandon young, kill their own kind without so much as a second thought if hunger is severe.

Nearly all Morphffers are predators, bar herbivores, but even they are partial to some meat if its offered. They choose to hunt, whether it be other Morphffers or general animals.
