Species: Energy-sustained nightmare given form
Description and Physiology: Khukh stands as a tall and thin human. His skin is pale and glossy, as thought it's covered in some oily substance. His eyes are two purple orbs set within white and his face is gaunt but not particularly aged. His hair is brown, messy, and cropped short. His fingers are long, ending in sharp nails. He stands poised with regal bearing. Usually he wears a rich aristocratic outfit of dark greens, blues and golds. He is never seen without his cane, a stick topped with a small sphere.
Physical Abilities: Khukh can withstand much pain and is very agile, though he is not particularly physically strong.
Supernatural Abilities: At will, Khukh can completely cover himself with pitch-black darkness which can hide him. His cane allows him to channel his powers to create a sharp whip-like strike of energy.
Weaponry: Cane.

Origin: Talmar.
History: Unlike most nightmares, Khukh was not born from the fears and uncertainties of a particular person, and was made to be permanent, rather than only lasting as long as the person stayed asleep. He was created in the 29th Century by scientists on the Human colony of Talmar. The scientists had been experimenting to see if they could create a holographic representation of a sleeping person's dream. As it would happen, the sleeper had a nightmare during the first experiment. Khukh was created from this nightmare, and the holographic projector went on overload, giving Khukh the necessary energy to create himself a physical form, leaving the sleeping subject in a permanent sleep-state. Once he had done this, Khukh tried to escape the laboratory but only managed to get so far as the other wing of the complex. As luck would have it, teleportation was being tested there and so Khukh stole a teleport and set it to random, leading him to freedom, after several adventures the teleporter took him to the Dojo.
Alignment: Evil chaotic.
Personality: Khukh has a dark humour, and tends to act simply for his own entertainment. Often he puts on an innocent, bumbling facade, acting pleasant if still quite dark. He has no concept of morality or of kindness, and will gladly betray someone if it proves interesting. He has no cares beyond his own entertainment, and will gladly sacrifice anybody or anything to keep himself occupied and interested in something. For this reason he will often help someone and then turn on them later. He has a rabid dislike and fear of sleeping people, as it reminds him of his own mortality and likes nothing better than to manipulate people for his own entertainment.
Known Weaknesses: Khukh is weak without his cane, being able to dodge attacks or hide. |
