Description and Physiology:
Human like really, there's nothing particularity special about him... well not that is instantly visible anyway. He has brown hair, a goatee, A long brown leather overcoat, plain top and trousers of various earthy browns and a solid looking pair of boots. He always wears a pair of leather gloves as well, one of which is hiding an unusual metal hand, an intricate clockwork contraption that does however look very much combat ready. Oh and don't forget the hat, the brown and battered wide rimmed hat.

Physical Abilities:
Markus' clockwork hand is much stronger than a human hand would be. Not immensely strong he could probably crush a metal pole with a little effort.

Signature Moves/Attacks:
He likes his crossbow very much, and so is rather good with it. Markus'll usually keep a variety of bolts with him, however times have been hard for him and he's down to his ordinary bolts. He used to have a lot of fun with the explosive ones.

Weaponry:
His trusty crossbow and a short sword for good measure. His clockwork hand also as a little hidden blade for emergencies.

Equipment:
Markus usually only carries his weapons, a few supplies to stay alive, and the clothes on his back. This is mostly because he hand is something of a swiss army knife. As well as the hidden blade mentioned earlier it can also be used pick conventional locks, disarm a variety of traps and open cans.

Doesn't tell the time however.

Home:
Wherever he is at the time, Markus is a travelling mercenary, staying at various inns or out in the great outdoors as required.

Origin:
Markus did come from a great city, however events in this city (or rather a certain guild in the city) drove him away.

History:
Markus has always wanted to be a merc. He joined the Mercenaries Guild as soon as he could and all went well until he was told to kill his best friend or be killed himself. He left to find his friend and instead agreed wit her that she would leave the city (and province) altogether, whilst Markus would return to the guild and claim she was dead. He could not bear to go back however. he hated them for what they tried to force him to do and wanted nothing more to do with the guild. He left the city and never came back, and swore he would never join the guild or any other again.

Alignment:
Neutral as neutral can be.

Personality:
Markus is somewhat cynical and anti social...

Okay he's VERY cynical and a complete ****. Unless you're paying him, then he becomes a little more amenable. Sort of.

Known Weaknesses:
Well aside from that fact that he is only human, his personality has landed him in more then a few fights in the past, and probably many more in the future.

Allies:
Markus doesn't do allies. Not anymore.
