Half-'n-Half

[Leporidae]

Events come and go at an alarming rate in the unstable realm of Blackstar. Oddities are the norm, paradoxes are the times, and mutated chicken-in-a-potato is what's for dinner. So something as small as a teeny tiny little meteor landing somewhere in the depths of the Black Forest made no creature, however small, blink an eye.

But when half-of-a denizen comes hopping into your stomping grounds screaming at the top of their lung(s), then that's something else.

Leporidae, a veteran Evil Council grunt took a walk to find a small snack, and had disappeared since for several months into the woods. She was thought to be dead, that is until the moment she hobbled over to the Training Grounds, barely keeping balance, and yelling with no hope of stopping. Despite any attempts to calm her down to or to stop the massive amount of guts and blood spilling all over the place, she wouldn't stop long enough for either to be possible.

The deep moist caves of the Evil Council were filled with malicious laughter, sinister thoughts, and the panicked pleas for mercy from a certain Cornelius. As usual, something just HAD to happen now, right when everyone was having some sort of mediocre entertainment of one form or another.

Clinging onto her trusty spear, the right half of Leporidae hopped in, screaming for death with every step. It was a sorrow disappointment for everybody once they found out from whom the loud yelling was coming from.

Dae wandered over curiously, shoving the silver lock of her hair back behind an ear. Her hands discreetly checked a few hiding places to check her knives were still there.

"Hun, you seem to be parted from your other half. Truly, I don't see how that'd be good for anyone."

Dae nevertheless gave a cursory glance up and down the half-a-Leporidae, looking for anywhere that might have something worth stealing.

[Leporidae]

The odd half-rabbit half-cat humanoid did not even pause for a moment to answer the shifty-looking human. After all, if you had been violently sliced in half without given the mercy of death, what else would you do but run around and scream like a chicken with it's head off?

This creature, or at least, this half of the creature did not have anything on her, or at least this seems so. Even the various organs and intestines flailing out every which way looked badly bruised and broken.

Dae frowned when she didn't get a reply and grabbed out a dagger, thumping Leporidae in a spot that would usually knock someone out, though there was no guarantee it would work on this creature. After all, she *was* hopping around with only half her body.

Bookeeper may be able to find out what happened to the poor thing, and Russet has some healing skill. He might at least be able to stop her innards falling out all over the place.

[Coolpikaaa]

Coolpikaaa was wandering through the Black forest, bored out of his mind. A traveling salesman promised that he had hidden a sacred rune inside the woods, and it would be an absolute treasure if recovered.

The rodent had remained skeptical the whole time, but he had been lacking a good adventure since his mutation and stirring up some trouble near the EC always was fun.

Closing in on the mouth of the cave, Coolpikaaa grinned.

"Hi Everyone! Just me, the friendly, neighborhood, Guardian Coolpikaaa checking in!" He shouted down into the caverns. "You wouldn't be stirring up any tro-"

Coolpikaaa paused as echoes of an unearthly scream reached his ears. It was far unlike anything old Cornelius had ever produced, and almost unbearable to listen to.

"Uh...you guys OK in there?" Coolpikaaa called down, perching on the edge so he could see into the murky darkness better. A feeling on unease spread over him and he somewhat expected some magnificent bane of humanity to pop out and eat him whole.

At least he wasn't bored anymore...

[Leporidae]

((I'm going to, for now one, refer to the Lep at the Training Grounds as L-Lep and the one at the cave as R-Lep, because typing the whole thing out is getting tiresome.))

L-Lep saw the strange human getting out the dangerous blade, and thought nothing about it. It wouldn't matter what she had in mind, anything is better than this. But what was left of her conscious thought was both interrupted and surprised when, rather then being stabbed, she was struck, with the blunt side of the dagger, in the gut (Or, at least, half of it). The screaming halted as she fell backwards onto the hard ground, clutching her stomach tightly. Her expression grew even worse, her mouth making tiny, exasperated shrieks in a sea of gasps for air.

"Hi Everyone! Just me, the friendly, neighborhood, Guardian Coolpikaaa checking in!"

These words echoed along the muck-covered walls of the caves, and could not escape the Rabicat, despite whatever position she may find herself in. She knew the word guardian well, but it used to carry a much, much different meaning then it does now. She turned her head around, in the midst of her own screeches, to face the strange electric Pokemon. R-Lep wobbled and hopped her way to the Pikachu, trying to emote whatever growls she can. Repeatedly, she tried to hit the guardian with her staff, but in her current state, she only managed to eventually fall over on her side after missing Coolpikaaa several times. There R-Lep tumbled around some, screaming and trying to get back up.

((Um, the gut?! 0_o No. I don't know anyone who would be knocked unconcious by a hit to the gut. Dae hit Leporidae on the temple or some similar spot.))

((Uuhhhhhh . . .

Awesome reflexes? ))

[Coolpikaaa]

Coolpikaaa peered through the darkness trying to see the source of the screams. It seemed to be closing in on him, growling for some odd rea-

AHHHHHRGG!

"HOLY @*%$ IT'S A @(#*ING ZOMBIE!!! "

It was now safe to say, that after seeing the monster (probably dripping out organs and spraying the room with blood), the electric mouse had completely lost his cool.

"AHHHHH! AHHHHHH! AHHHHHHH!"

Turning at full speed, without any good reason to look where he was heading (did he seriously need one at this point?), Coolpikaaa abruptly ran full speed into the rocky wall, bouncing off and tumbling down onto the cave floor where he tried to get to his feet.

...comically, in the same manner Lep was.
