Right, I don't know if JRChat is currently working, and even if it were, I can't access it.
Now I know is a java client thing, and I've tried to download Java update, and I click the install option, but then nothing happens, the page freezes and everything becomes really slow. I don't know what I can do. Currently on my laptop. Any ideas..?

AFAIK, JRC's down. But this is second-hand information so it may be incorrect.
As for the Java applet it's been broken for a while. Nothing can save you from a broken Java applet. >_>
