Ah, I know what RSS is. New Scientist did an article on 'Citizen Journalism' that included a brief description of it.
Hang on a sec and I'll go dig it out...

RSS is more than that - it's the basis of all podcasting (or at least it became that when the standard included linking to files)
RSS, simply put, is an xml file that has been formatted to included information on articles from a blog, news source - and yes, even a podcast.
As for what use it is, short of podcasting, I've found RSS feeds tend to be more of a hassle than a convenience. I don't see how it would benefit the Dojo.

I voted no. I've never been able to see the point of RSS feeds, esspecially not for a site like Blackstar.
The important stuff (RP) I find requires the time to read it in detail and in context, which isn't really what RSS feeds are for. They might work fine for headlines on a news site or maybe even a blog but I can't imagine it ever being useful for RP.
