Blacstar Dojo had, for some time, remained ignorant of some of the other magical lands. Indeed, it does know of such lands as Gameware and TOCAF. But as to others, they were unknown.

Until now.

Sitting somewhere in the forested regions of Southern California, a single dot full of magical activity lies in a mostly dormant world. This dot is known as Magic Land, or Maka, or Kylitcha. But mostly as Magic Land.

Magic Land is a semi feral land. According to "Of Populice and Plants" "....a semi feral land is any land that has a higher population of animals than people, and yet those animals are, for the most part, sentient, intellegent beings." Indeed, Magic Land is mostly populated by animals with human-and more-intellegence.

It was a normal day in Magic Land. The baby fish in the Green Slime Lake were growing their third eye. The Catostines in the Forest of Ur gnawed away at a Knat Dragon. The giant Calanimals flew overhead, looking for something to grab. And sitting by the 8th Ocean was a Pigstone.

Pigstones (pronounces Pig-stun) are creatures that resemble bipedal piglets. They are smoother and thinner looking than pigs, and have a general intellegent look about them. Adult Pigstones don't even come up to a grown woman's knee.

This particular pigstone was a water pigstone. This meant he was blue and had gills as well as lungs. He sat by the edge of the water, playing with a lilypad. He was only a child. A young pigstone. About half the size of an adult.

Suddenly, a shot rang out across the land. The pigstone looked up. All the pigstones in Magic Land looked up. And indeed, everything that lived and moved in Magic Land stopped what they were doing and looked up.

A shot had been fired in Magic Land.

There was suddenly shouting, and several armed men came bursting into the land. Shots started fireing everywhere. Creatures cowered. Guns had never been in Magic Land before.

The gunmen ran over to the edge of the 8th Ocean. They stared down at the little Pigstone.

The little Pigstone stared back.

Another shot was heard around Magic Land.

***

Magic Land was in chaos. Ever since They came, it seemed that the end of Magic Land was near. They were trying to pave over the forests, drain all the rivers, and cut down all the trees. Certainly, there were protests from the residents, but they were quickly silenced. People were moving in, riding in huge, clunky creatures calledcars and talking on things called cell phones. Well respected residents of Magic Land were being eaten on a dinner table.

The time had come for drastic action.

Somewhere, in an unknown cave, a meeting was taking place.

"You are wise, Rogarth" said a voice inside the cave. "Your memory is astonding. Your speed is great. And your stamina is wonderous. You will be the one sent to Blackstar."

"Very well, Ork Northgo." said another, younger voice. "But why are we asking for Blackstar's help? Why not Aug' Naughtens? Kumatcha's? Even Arkinda's?"

"Aug' Naughten is hard to get to." said the previous cvoice. "Kumatcha is too feral to understand how to point a gun. And Arkinda's already being invaded itself. Finally, Gameware is too overcrowded with spammers to help us. Blackstar's our only hope. Carry the message there. Be sure not to let it escape your lips until you are withen Blackstar's walls. Or else the humans will suspect something."

"Yes, gracious Ork." said the younger voice. There was a pattering of hooves, and a Pigstone came out. He was a purple teenager, and he had many scars on his face. He looked around quickly before setting away from the cave at a run.

***

He panted. His heart seemed ready to give out. But he could see Blackstar in the distance. Rogarth knew he must not fail.

"If I fail to bring the message, Magic Land will blend in with the rest of the world. The black dot will be splattered with the white paint of humanity. This must not happen."

He kept on telling himself that as he ran closer to the edge of Blackstar. Weezing and panting, he fell down, his arm touching the edge of Blackstar.

It was just at that moment that Elsra had been flying by. She was looking for something to eat, and she spotted something suddenly drop to the ground.

She dove, landed near the creature, and looked at it. It seemed to be dead. Oh well. A carcus was better than nothing.

She was about to eat it when the thing suddenly jerked and screamed. Elsra quickly stopped poking it and looked at it closly.

Rogarth raised his head to look into the eyes of the dragon. He spoke with trembling lips, shaking with all his might.

"This... must...be...broadcasted."

Elsra nodded, and quickly flew off. She returned with a microphone and camera.

Rogarth nodded and slowly picked up the microphone. With a weasing breath, he looked at the camera, at all of Blackstar, from the Wilds to Phycotopia, from the Artic to the Catocombs. He spoke.

"Hello, Blackstar, brother to the North." he said slowly. "I come here from Magic Land, a land which, up until this time, you never knew about. I come here because our great land is under attack. Under Attack by normal, sane people. Our people are being roasted on open flames and eaten regulary. Our people are being enslaved, forced to carry humans and plow their fields. Our people are being killed just for the human's amusement."

He gasped. Elsra held the camera closer to him.

"Blackstar.... we need your help. Magic Land is among the last 4 Magical Lands, not counting yourself and Gameware. Please, don't let that number drop down to 3. Or 2, seeing the problems with Arkinda."

He gasped again. Then he spoke the last line.

"Please... help us...."

He fainted.
