Welcome to the Dojo hun! I don't have the canned greeting either...  Though I think it's getting a bit stale and out of date.... but we'll see.
If you have any questions, you're welcome to ask me as well. Otherwise, enjoy your stay at the Dojo. I rather think your meeting with Addman shall be interesting.... hmm....

Welcome, Cookie. I'm pretty sure you can figure out what's expected of you without a canned message, you strike as the type to read rules, FAQs, and possibly the greeting threads of other members to read the canned greetings contained therin, but maybe I'm wrong. Either way, have a great time roleplaying with us, and/or whatever else you would do here.

Welcome to the Blackstar Role Playing Dojo!
If you are new to the world of Role Playing, you may wish to start at the Training Dojo, where any of our staff will be more than happy to help you learn the game.
The most important part of role playing is the development of a character. This is required before you participate in most role plays. You can look at examples of characters in our Hall of Records. Once you have a character, you can post your profile in there.
Once you have a character and some training, you may wish to join a role play. The most active of Role Playing boards is The Wilds. There are many other role playing boards for RPs of a specific location or type. Explore as much as you can.
A new feature to the Dojo is the addition of items. Most items have a way to be synthed, or combined, with other items to form usable items. Usable items will be listed in a pull down menu when you create a post, enabling you to specify which item you are using, who is using it, and what their target is. Usable items have a hit % and a break %. If you're lucky, your item use will suceed, if not, it will miss. Either way, there is a chance that your item will break and become unusable. See our wiki article on Items for more information.
Several of the boards are non-RPing boards. Boards like Announcements, General Chat, and Bugs and Features are examples of non-RPing boards. Be sure to explore these too.
We only have a few rules:
1. Respect other people, and treat them as you wish to be treated.
2. Do not argue with the Admins and Mods. They have plenty of work already. If you really have a beef with something, discussing it in a logical and calm manner will get you miles farther than whining.
3. No Powerplaying. This means forcing actions on other people. For more information on Powerplaying and how to avoid it, please refer to "Powerplaying" on our wiki.
If you have any questions during your stay here, you may ask one of the administrators or moderators. You can recognize us by our belts: Gold Dragons on the belt of an Admin, Silver on the belt of a mod.
Should you be unable to contact an Admin or you want your answer quickly, you can always refer to the Blackstar Wiki.
Please also be advised that Blackstar is considered highly addictive and may result in symptoms of insomnia, crankiness, longing for insanity, and general RP itch if you discontinue use. |

Greetings Cookie, always excellent to see a new face. I see CP got you the Canned Greeting already  . There's only two more things we need to tell you:
1: If you have any sanity, please deposit it in the skull shaped baskets by the door. It'll leak out your ears and stain everything if you don't .
2: Don't ever feed the Mutant Chickens, it's incredibly painful to remove what's left of your arm afterwards.
I think that's it, now here, have a radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownie

Welcome No Cookie For Me...I mean, No Cookie Four You. As Swix has already said, remove your sanity as soon as possible, those stains are a horrible shade of purple, or it might have been green...
Also, I suggest you don't introduce yourself to Addman, for reasons that will soon become clear.
