Gameware forums are dead, Long Live Blackstar.

Appearently the spammers of Gameware have [finally] gone too far, as Lisa has used her awesome Administrative power to shut down Gameware Forums. Although I hope our parent-forums are only temporarily shut down, I feel the spammers won't let it be so.

So, to address the second part of the announcement title, I have a warning for any spammers who wish to make Blackstar home. You'll find that I am a much more active admin than Lisa, with a much more stringent spam policy. If I see any spam - any at all, not only will I delete the post, I'll see to it to IP ban you from Blackstar. I will not have spam come to the forum I created to get away from the Spam on Gameware.

Gameware's never been as well organized as Blackstar, but it's still a pity that the entire board's been closed to solve the problems...

Why punish everyone when the spammers are such a clear minority? (Seriously, there's like, 5 of them )

That sucks. In spite of the spam that forum is the hub of the Creatures community, without it we're practically back to the days when shut down and the community split into little seperate fansite groups and it was virtually impossible to find out what was going on.

I hope it's not permenant, maybe if they leave it a bit the spammers will forget about it and the forum can be re-opened without them.

I certainly hope so. It sucks not really having anywhere for everyone to meet anymore, no-one is coming onto the Gameware IRC channel right now either. :-/
