|
|
((Subtitle: "Colony in the Southern Regions"
I was a strollin' though the archives one cold dreary English day (read: all of them) and I came across the old Colony in the Northern Regions thread.
And what with the popularity of Wall #2, I eventually thought [s:7644695a9c]"Hrmm, better make a sequel and cash in quick before the trend's over"[/s:7644695a9c] that here was a great thread that could do with a round #2.
The original creator of the thread, Speeder, hasn't been active in over a year also, and I would have asked his permission first, but in the case he comes back and is somewhat irked I've usurped his potential sequel creation, I apologise pre-emptively. NOW ON WITH THE SHOW!))
Narrator: Once upon a time in a land far far away, many a time different to now, when men were real men, women were real women, dragons were real dragons, aliens were real aliens, nth-dimensional horrors from beyond the stars were real nth-dimensional horrors from beyond the stars... Okay, y'know what, I'm going to skip ahead a bit.
So, there's this place, right? It's all sandy and dune-y and is pretty unpleasant, what with the sun beating down all the time. Granted, you tend to be lucky enough to trip and fall into the odd oasis, but it's not pleasant overall.
And you, the hapless participants of this roleplay scenario, want to, for whatever godforsaken reason, establish a colony here of your own devising.
There will be trials. There will be tribulations. There will be Tribbles. Or not. And there will be cake at the end for passing the test- oops, wrong script.
And hilarity may or may not ensue. Good luck!
Cameraman: ...Wow, Carl, how did you improv that whole thing?
Narrator: ...You're holding the cue cards.
Cameraman: Yeah, but all they say is blank. There's nothing on them.
Narrator: The writing is on the side facing me! *palms face* This is going to be a looong day... _________________ This is a signature that states a new signature shall be coming at some point in the future.
