Biologically granted Abilities: The average DEMON has enhanced senses beyond the abilities of the normal human. Other abilities vary from specimen to specimen.

Diseases Genetically Prone to: DEMONs are extremely resilient against diseases, to the point that there have been no reported cases of cancer in a human infected with the DEMON virus.

Technological Status: DEMONs are more of a subspecies of humanity, and thus are on the same technological level as them/

Description: DEMON's appearances vary highly between specimens, the only universal trait being slitted (cat) eyes. Based on research done on specimens, it seems that the virus alters the DNA and physical appearance/abilities of a human based on what they describe to be their 'greatest desires'. The virus usually takes about a month before symptoms (usually dubbed 'the transformation') appear, and often happens while the specimen is sleeping. The virus only alters so much in a single sitting, presumably to not endanger the life of the specimen. Instead, when certain emotions (also varying) are triggered, the virus becomes active once more, beginning work on the specimen. Unlike the first 'transformation', the specimen often experiences pain and is known to fall unconcious.

Culture: DEMONs are discriminated heavily against, their name being the most obvious of these prejudices. DEMONs are usually similarly against humans, with the exception of a few pacifist 'packs'. DEMONs live together in surrogate families of a sort, dubbed Packs.

Religion: Identical to humans.
