The caretaker of the Church notices you as you enter the church, sunning herself on the table in the corner.

"Goodbye," she greets you, cheerfully. "Thank you for the place being so empty; someone tried to move the crucifix again."

She gestures to the bulky gray crucifix in the corner, looking quite out of place in the rather colorful and all-over-the-place church.

You approach the crucifix, an odd feeling overwhelming you. You reach out a hand, and--

"They always do that," sighs the caretaker, leaning back. "Dunno why they keep on vanishing."

You awaken face down, on a ripped and torn carpet. Lifting yourself up, you see that you have somehow ended up in a church, this one wartorn, the stained glass shattered long ago. Pews are thrown about everywhere, and the only thing still intact is the crucifix -- the twin of the one in the Church.

As you stumble outside -- disoriented from whatever happened -- you notice a person walk outside of the nearby school complex.

You double take -- no, that's not a human. It looks almost human-- but--

Welcome to the Church of Discordia, the waypoint between Blackstar Dojo and a certain Berlin, New Jersey.

This is a forum for roleplaying within my pet universe, Demonic Humanity. My only specific request is that no non-humans are able to traverse the portal between multiverses. If this means that you have to create a new character, then do so.

This world is, indeed, the Berlin described in the journal of Lucifer, but much has changed since the time said journal was written -- the town is not a happy place. Battles are waged constantly. Wars are being fought, all over the world, about the DEMONs.

The friendly faces from her journals -- the Berlin pack -- are visibly unchanged, the effects of the DEMON virus stopping aging entirely. They will be interactable, and will serve as my own characters. Much has changed, though -- they are no longer the only pack.[/i]

Looks like I'll have to think up a decent DEMON over the next few days...
