The new person

Hey! This is Catatonic-Kitty, mostly going by Kitty, sometimes going by HH(stands for hyperactive hyena) or Wowyn(my RL nickname).

Allthough I'm definately not new to roleplaying, and I consider myself fairly good, I know I've still got a lot of room for improvement, so I'm really happy I found a place with so many amazing roleplayers to learn from.

Well, I'm sixteen, A girl, obviously, and a bit of a gamergeek. I play a lot of old games, NES/SNES stuff mostly, but I play quite a lot of new stuff as well. My RL name is Eowyn, and yes, I am named after Lord of the Rings Eowyn, and I live in the middle of nowhere, Virginia. I play Creatures like a feind, you you can imagine the high-pitched squeal that erupted from me when I saw there was a forum just for that.
When it comes to roleplaying, I like to think that I'm pretty versitile, ranging from straight out fantasy to star wars rp(Annoo Dat FTW), and I've got TONS of characters. Literally, tons. Though I've only got.... about four figured out and perfected all the way. So I'm happy to be here, and i hope i get to roleplay untill my brains fall out and i have to buy new ones from my shady uncle!

He has connections for that kind of thing.

"Welcome to Insanity, feline." A shady figure steps out from the shadows, revealing itself to be Maraha in her Dark Knight form. She grins before approaching the newcomer. "I go by Maraha 'round here. Remember it, fear it, and you'll go far."

"That's enough, Maraha." Triste, a young looking vampire, steps out of the shadows and stands next to Maraha. "Ignore her, she's..." He pauses. Maraha chuckles madly, and Triste sighs before going on; "Odd."

Ahh yes, our Creatures forums, we keep that because lots of our members come from very Creatures-oriented backgrounds.

< Used to be a fanatic before the support group.

My family forced me to realise the truth alas, when I bio-engineered an ant/chicken hybrid and named it Lemon.
Yes...that was a dark day for all mankind.

Yes, and I was on Gameware. Oh, that reminds me - do VP and I still keep these banner thingys seeings as we both left? *tugs at it* Leanne spammed up the place, and after VP left I just got bored...

Tel'Erusva: what I still want to know is, why is my most evil and creul personality the first one to show up? I mean, I'm far from creul, it's just that little bit that - along with my pyromaniacy - spawned you.

Intyalle: *dryly* Goody-goods? *looks at Insanity*
Insanity: *nibbles self*
Intyalle: Hardly.
Tel'Erusva: Can I post without you lot all jumping in?
Melanaur: Why of course. You do it all the time. It's just that when we do jump in, you can't do anything about it. After all, we are you.
Intyalle: *clears throat* Anywho, we're going to pass on to the nice person who is going to post next now, and no, Melanaur, you won't say anything to extend this another 50 lines.

*raises finger* Oh, no, I'm not very feline at all. I've just been going by Catatonic-Kitty as long as I can remember. I'm very much a hyena in all respects.

Anyways, thanks for saying hi! It's good to know you guys are all nice!

Oh, and Intyalle? That's what i keep this burlap sack for.
*points to sack, which is writhing as though it is full of people*

It helps keep them out of the conversation, but sometimes the more tenacious ones get out.

Thankfully I don't have any characters that can teleport.

Oh, and one one last note, Can somebody please give me a few of the unwritten rules? Anything taboo here? Something i should know about before I make a complete fool of myself?

Oh, good! In fact, i should probably get to work on Ivan's bio, I figure maby Hero Squirrel would be a bit too weird for a first character here...

Not that Ivan's completely normal himself, but at least he's not a squirrel.

Anyway, again, I hope you enjoy your stay. Has someone already reminded you to leave your sanity (or what's left of it, or whatever) in the skull-shaped basket next to the entrance? Because if you don't, it'll leak out your ears, and it stains terribly. Well, if it doesn't burn holes through your clothes, then it stains terribly. Razz

I already told you, they're not my characters. They're me... albeit only little pieces of me. Tel'Erusva is actually Tel'Mithrim for "The One Broken".

ANYWHO, what were you saying about this forum of yours?

Greetings, Catatonic-Kitty! Hope you've had a... ummm... enjoyable stay so far.

Oh and don't worry about amount or type of characters either, pretty much anything can go here.

Except powerplay of course, but since you've had experience in RPing already you shouldn't have a problem.
