Well it has been an interesting week hasn't it Blackstar? The EC taking over, the entire Admin team getting banned, a massive RP underway and eventualy some [censor]ing from upper management.

Another wonderfully played EC plot.

I would like to thank my fellow EC members for planning this out well in advance, the Admin team for being such good sports as to lay low for an entire week and having to play along even on their IMs, I'd also like to give a special extended thanks to DP who put 110% into giving Blackstar a complete revamp.
I would also like to thank every Blackstar member for putting up with the mad ole' EC and really playing along strongly on the RP side.


Well done everyone, give yourself a pat on the back for a lovely entertaining week.

Yep, I admit it. There wasn't a slow computer slowly cracking Fort's password. And The Admin team was in on it from the beginning.

Why? Because we needed an excuse to get rid of the main theme for a while (hope you love Embri's hard work as much as I do), and we needed something to ring in the new school year.

All said, I couldn't be prouder of most of you, and I'm down right ashamed of others.

The Rebels, as they branded themselves, fought in the face of what they saw as impossible odds, soley for what is right. I have had to go behind the scenes I don't know how many times and threaten the EC to expose this entire thing early because they kept crossing lines. And Yet you endured, and stood, and fought. I should mention as a funny coincidence that my old high school's mascot was a Rebel. That is why I am proud to present all the rebels with the Noble Resistance Medal.

Then there was those who saw the hack, and roled over and let the EC win. Although I have to give some of you credit for realizing that I have made safeguards for just such an occasion, others just did it because it was easy. For these I cannot express my shame for you. That is now what the Dojo is about, and I would have hoped you have had more honor.

And the EC. My other alma mater. I can't count how many times I've dropped the hint that I am a former Headmaster. For those that helped in this most nafarious plot, I have asked that you be awarded the Vile Plotting Medal. As a further bonus to future RP, I have suggested to the EC that they continue this "World Domination" goal. This should lead to some actual evil around here.

Now, if you don't mind, I see a lynch mob forming, and their effigies look a little to familiar...I think I should go.

Hope you all enjoy the new Blackstar theme. If you find any problems, such as missing images, stray pixels or the like, please let me know...

Also, I'd like to add that while I can't say I was enthused about this particular plot, it was put underway with my knowledge and approval. Goron's as well.

Hmm, I really should have been a bit more active. But I agree with these two - all the 'Rebels' should give yourselves a pat on the back to being loyal to Blackstar! Congratulations.

On another note: don't kill us - you have to admit it was amusing and also that it created a damn good role play

I'd also like to thank the mods for staying low for the week - kudos to you all!

Also, Embri, your work is wonderful. I really do love the new theme!

I'd make a more official post, but I'd really just be echoing things that people have already said. Thanks to the admin team for letting us get away with more than we'd be able to on any other forum and thanks to you filthy rebel scum for making things so much harder for us.

Seems like Fort and DP have already thanked most of the higher ups, so I'll take a few moments to give my special mentions to some of the not-so-higher ups - namely the three rebels that I found the most annoying, coolpikaaa, theblacksoul and kazumaru. Half the time I was on here I was changing all of your sigs, locations, etc because you'd changed them back without me knowing. I even noticed that a couple of you had managed to change the theme, how you managed that I'll never know (I was truly baffled to see you use items against me until I figured that out ).

Anybody who thought that this was just one epic plot, congratulations, you may now say 'I told you so' to everybody else (SFOT, for once this is probably you ). If anybody thought that I was overly cruel to them, well, I guess I'll just have to make it up to you somehow (hopefully nobody feels that I've been overly cruel, but I have a feeling that there's going to be at least one of you).

Finally, even though I already said that I wouldn't, I really can't not thank both DP and Embri. DP for being such a good sport with all of this and helping to make it the success that it was and Embri for the awesome new (and not at all evil) theme that we get to look at (I think that the Blackstar Dragon is especially kickass, it's just too bad that we never see him/her in RPs around here ).

To those of you who gave up in the face of a seemingly undefeatable enemy, I hold nothing against you. The lines between RP and RL were very blurred in this plot, I imagine that if this had been a simple 'EC vs Blackstar' RP battle we'd have had everybody opposing us, and if the rebels vs EC fight had gone on for much longer I'm sure that the rebels would find their numbers gradually bolstered by Dojodians who felt the need to fight the good fight.

Oh, and one last special thanks to chief slave Maraha, you can remove your shackles now and stop eating buckets of fish heads, it was all just a hilarious plot .

"The Dragon" as you put it, is Shalim... and be careful what you wish for, you may just get it... she's not just a pretty face (with big, pointy teeth.)

I was really going along with this one guys,thanks to all who put it on,it was very convincing.

Anyway,the new layout is awesome and I am so happy that things are kinda back to normal.

hahaha, well, as I told dark psycho over MSN, I'd guessed this was a storyline all along. the fact the guy running it is monkey style was a bit of a tell. not to mention that in any real admin takeover, rebels would simply find themselves banned without warning. that said it was an absolutely awesome introduction for me to the forums, I just wish I could have gotten a few more replies out of Fort in the last stand duel thread. Kara is still scanning the EC's mobile headquarters for life signs .

Well, you also knew that if it was a plot I couldn't tell you it was and still be in character.

I hate plots that blend RL and RP.

But still, don't be afraid to spread the word of the Dojo. Just tell them we have spiffy dragons.

I really wished I could have played a larger role in this plot, but as it stands I technically qualify as an admin, so even if I had had the internet acess that will be gifted to me when my new computer arrives (transmitting from my Wii right now), I still wouldn't haven been able to be fooled like I would have enjoyed to be. :p

(Side note to DP: That should also excuse my abscence during clean up... MSN doesn't work so hot on my Wii... My apologies.)

Anyways great job with the plot EC.
