Map Update

More of a request than a suggestion I suppose, but could somebody please update the map of Blackstar? It's severely outdated and lacks many important buildings and landmarks (eg: the Volcano, the Guardians' HQ, Dojopolis, etc), most of which are very important to roleplays here.

It would also be nice to establish some sort of measurement of distance between things, so that we have an idea of what's a fair amount of travel time to take to get from one place to another.

It's a bit of an assumption on my part, but with the Pumpkin Patch section setting itself up for some major RPing I think that we really do need a detailed map now more than ever.

Not that great of an offer, but if someone could provide me with all of the information needed, I believe I could possibly draw a map to everyone's satisfaction.

I think that anyone who wants to, could make a map, then we vote for the best.

In case anyone wants to know, the Catacombs are in the west-north corner

i added the safari zone, the sanctuary and more mountains.

Nice looking map there Zerrer, though it's missing quite a few details.

Anybody who wants to is welcome to draw the map, though I guess in the end only one will be used (there's no harm in offering people a range to choose from though Smile

).

So now to establish what exists in Blackstar. Off the top of my head, I'd say that we have:

Central Plains:
* Hall of Shame (refer to old map for location)
* Psychotopia City (refer to old map for location)
* Dojopolis (to the south of Psychotopia City)
* Pumpkin Patch
* Amphitheatre
* Bingo Hall (refer to old map for location)
* Market Place
* Olympic Stadium
* Dojo Entrance (refer to old map for location)

Black Forest:
* Volcano (+ mysterious building, see Corporate Development 1 & Tremors)
* Corrupted Cave (refer to old map for location, basically on the far western side of the Black Forest)
* Blackstar World Art Gallery

Evergreen Glades:
* The Archives (refer to old map for location)
* The Training Dojo (refer to old map for location)
* The Wilds (refer to old map for location)
* Meeting House Complex (refer to old map for location)

Southern Frontier:
* The Sanctuary
* Corporate HQ
* Pyramids (refer to Corporate Development 1)
* coolpikaaa's Safari Zone (this is where the thread is, isn't it? Where do you want it cp?)
* Fort's Wall (wasn't expecting this one to be a permanent addition Razz

)
* Ocean (bordering the southernmost parts of the Southern Frontier)

Arctic Tundra:
* The Guardians Citadel
* The Challenge Arena
* Mt. Neverrest? (apparently the tallest and most dangerous mountain in the dojo, refer to coolpikaaa's RP by the same name, up to him if he wants to include it in the map or not though)

Let me know if I've missed anything and I'll add it in, this is just the basis for the master list of what's what in the Dojo.

What about Ashen's City of Hunters in the Southern Frontier? Maybe the farm that borders it.("As a Hunter Stalks") And possibly the old mill in the wilds ("The Last-Forever Machine")?

Are those noteworthy enough to put on the map?

Possibly wouldn't hurt to put some of the shops in on there that aren't in Psychotopia City (which Zerrer named "Blackstar Dojo". Which is wrong.)

Also, Zerrer, the borders of the tundra and desert are not that straight. Refer to old map
