The enigma are mysterious, ghost-like, usually empty-eyed creatures. As a whole, they are elemental spirits of Darkness, and therefore use Dark magic spells and abilities.

Some types of Enigma:

Pooka-Dog-like enigma

These enigma have large, rather bat-like ears. Their front legs are powerful and muscular, and their feet have fearsome claws. Their hind legs, however, appear to be 3 extensions of their skin hanging down. They have no purpose other than help the pooka walk. Their heads do not have a muzzle, or any visible sort of nose, but are flattened at the front. They have the typically hollow, empty eyes of an enigma, as well as a ghost-like mouth. They are colored pale gray, with random blue circles in some areas, like the front limbs.

Pooka are weak while physically attacking, but their magic spells can pack quite a punch.

Dab Hasnel-Centipede/Lizard-like Enigma

These enigma are most noted for their large, segmented shells that cover their backs and tail. The head is rounded like a centipede, and has horns that curve forwards sticking out on both sides. Their eyes aren't empty and hollow, but they are very black. For such a heavily armed enigma, they have 4 surprisingly slender legs, with three toed feet. This makes them very agile. The tail is very long, and most Dab Hasnel tend to stand up on their tails. They are also diffrent from most enigma in the fact they are not ghost-like or transparent.

Dab Hasnel can roll up into a ball, exposing only their hard, armored shells. They typically roll up to attack, either by bouncing on a foe or running a foe over-sometimes both. They can also use dark magic, but that isn't used very often.

Dragon Enigma-Dragon-like enigma.

Dragon enigmas aren't true dragons, but rather enigmas. They have narrow jaws, riddled with cone-like teeth. Their horns are curved like a ram's. They have the typically hollow, empty eyes of most enigmas. Their limbs are powerful, and sport fearsome, serrated claws. Their wingspan typically matches the length of the enigma. Their tails end with a whiplike end, with serrations on the last 3 feet of the top. Their color varies from pale gray to deep black, and like most enigmas, they are ghostly nd transparent (somewhat).

Dragon enigma are both efficent physical attackers and skilled magic users.

No matter what the type, all Enigmas are very intellegent and capable of speech.
