Since the EC private forums decided to die.

Anyway, felt like sticking this here.

Meet Barada. Barada is a gosling. And is really fast for a gosling.

It took me three tries to get this photo.

He is sitting in my hand.

This is proof. You can also see my salvaged motherboard in this picture.

These are Barada's siblings (all most likely have the same father, and are half/all African), Klaatu and Nikto.

I just found out my real dad, who lives by the coast and whom I don't get to see very much, caught the flu. And he now has bronchial pneumonia on top of his other health problems, like emphacaema and asthma.

Having money troubles...

Having parental unit arguments...

So, my life pretty much sucks right now...

Only good news is, the book Dhampir is awesome, and so is 'the last great PS2 game' Okami.

I'm scared and excited. Two conflicting emotions that somehow come together. Why am I feeling like this? Scared because uni is almost over and I still have a lot of work to do, and excited because uni is almost over. So there we have it, my life up to date. Well, not quite...

...Went to see Jimmy Carr the other day [Why he came to Huddersfield is beyond me] and he was awesome. Even got his autograph, and talked to him a little bit. It scared me because I thought he'd be exactly how he is when doing stand up [i.e. making fun of the audience] but he was quite different so my opinions of him went up considerably after that. Razz

What else did I do? Most notably, done a lot of work that I'm really proud of. Everything is going as planned, the same can't be said for my report I have to do though. It will be good when this week is over really, means I will have caught up and can relax slightly.

My friend Jason who I met at Eirtakon (Ireland's one and only anime convention) just drew me a picture.

Our costumes at Eirtakon were the following:

and Jason, looking funkeh in his Cloud costume.

SPRING BREAK!

So yeah, don't expect to see me for a good week after Friday. I'll be at home with my laptop, but no acess. The laptop will then become a fancy MP3 player.

And honestly, I don't want to get on even if I can. I'm sooo sick of the place I'm in now (enough people for a small city, except since this is the midwest (and not St. Louis over in Missouri) you don't have to worry about getting mugged- many call it the "largest small town ever"). Let's call it Smallsville, shall we?

I'm hoping a break from everyone here will help me get my priorities in order. For one thing, I got all A's and B's in college last semester, and this looks like a B's and C's semester so far. The problem? My scholarships require straight A's this semester.

Not to mention some of them were freshman only, so I'm looking for money while the deadlines fly by....

And I know I can do better! A lot of this is stress from the people I know here. Basically, my best friend in Smallsville turned into a semi-love interest...

and we agreed things wouldn't work out. Stuff happened, we're still friends but I love him even though I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole now, and it doesn't help that every time I see him he's snogging his barely-legal gf who's actually a pretty cool person but everyone else I know calls her butt-ugly behind her back, which is horrible. On top of that, I see this guy EVERY DAY. Which really isn't helping me get away from the situation.

Some other stuff happend, I re-learned the whole "depend on onlyyourself" thing, people are really getting to me here, yadda yadda yadda.

Did I mention that the organization I'm in and was going to move into the organiszation house next semester is losing said house? That I still don't have a job, and I'm getting sucked outta money left and right? That I've been having nightmares almost every night for awhile? That I have an essay due and a test tomorrow but I can't focus AT ALL?

You know what, I'm going to stop ranting before I get into a roll. See you guys in a week.

I don't think I can compete with that... but on a brighter note I have 2 weeks left of uni (I think/hope). I say that in a hopeful manner, but the truth is when I go back home I still have to do loads of work and such.

Not going to let it get to me, I think I'm more or less on track with everything. Getting excited at the prospect of a 2.1 at the end of my course, well that's what my hopeful side says. My less than hopeful side thinks a lot less, but I usually throw him into a cupboard somewhere. Wink

Soon I shall trudge into the big wide world of work life. Scary and exciting.

I went to a college today to do the second third of the PSSAs today. (They're the SAT tests for homeschoolers.) I have to go back again tomorrow to finish the math, and the science is in April...

I don't know why they do it so damn far apart.

Or why everyone gets hyped about it. It's just a test. *aces math easily*
