The Laws of the Dojo are clear and understated, but immense in their value, wisdom, and flexibility. For those that are uncertain, I shall recap.

One among us has shown an repeated inability to follow these simple rules. They were banned from this place for wiki edits that disrespected certain moderators, as well as Blackstar as a whole.

They found a loophole, and came back under a new identity, saying that they were their neighbor. I made an administrative decision to use some of my Christian forgiveness and give them a second chance at redemption.

But some people can't take a good thing. So I am calling on a vote of the moderators of Blackstar Dojo, aka the Blackstar Council, as to my next course of action. This time when I act, it shall be under the full authority and support of Blackstar. I shall also give the accused a chance to say what he will in his own defense, via a PM to me, which shall be quoted (in an un-edited form) for all to see.

For evidence of his latest rule breaking spree, I offer into evidence this PM, recieved under the title "$$$" on this day the Twenty-Seventh of Febuary, the year Two-Thousand and Seven AD, at 10:10 PM GMT (2/27/2007 22:10 GMT)

Permanent Ban.

Everywhere he goes, DLM is nothing more than a troll and delinquent.

We don't need him.
We don't want him.
We should not have to put up with his nonsense and crass.

We gave him ample opportunities to redeem himself. He has made his choice obvious. I find him personally offensive, especially in JRChat where he has also been perma-banned for repeatedly joking about raping other people in the chatroom. I am not sorry to see him go, and I hope he never comes back.

My vote is cast. *turns back on DLM*

DLM's sheer stubborness and absolute refusal to simply apologize for what he's done simply astounds me - he's done pretty much everything but apologize, from non-stop lying to bribing DP.

A quick run-down for the public as to why I'm voting this way, as for the rest of the BC it should be pretty obvious.

Firstly, assuming that DLM and Psyconaut are one and the same:
1. DLM cheated his way around his ban.
2. He lied and tried to use the Psyconaut account to regain his old characters, basically putting himself right back where he was before he was banned.
3. When caught out and offered a second chance, he neither apologized nor showed any gratitude, instead making demands (that he wanted his old account unbanned) and suggesting that he'd get supporters (we'd already offered him a second chance - what need was there for followers?).
4. I was originally for giving DLM a second chance, however, my agreeance was conditional - I was happy to let him stay so long as he was appreciative and apologized for what he'd done wrong. His failure to do so has changed my stance on this matter.
5. He's exploiting the fact that some of us are unsure as to whether or not DLM and Psyconaut are two seperate people, using this fact to secure his membership here. His little 'IDDQD' comment was the icing on that cake, and you don't get much more disrespectful than that.
5. He's now tried to pay his way out of trouble, and shows no change in his behaviour.

Now, should DLM and Psyconaut by some amazingly slim chance be two seperate people:
1. Psyconaut was warned several times by mods and regular users alike not to allow DLM to use his account, which he ignored. So he's willingly allowing a banned user to get back into our forums. This alone not only disrespects everyone here, but the very system upon which we function.
2. On top of that, he's attempting to pay DLM's way out of trouble. If he's a seperate person to DLM he's just as bad as him, attempting to cheat his way around the system.

In my opinion, nobody should be above the system here, so when Psyconaut/DLM offered DP a bribe, that was the final straw. All you had to do to win my support was show a shred of regret DLM, or even just a slight sign of gratitude. You're still welcome to say sorry to everyone, but as far as I'm concerned it's too little too late now, you've made it painfully obvious that you have no chance of learning any sort of lesson here.

I'm glad to see good sense prevail.

I agree with all the above points, and thank you DP for your clear and decisive evidence. I can't believe he's still trying to bribe his way back in AFTER it was publically stated that his donation would not matter. It makes me shudder to think what he wants his old account back for so badly.

Let's make sure that he never darkens the dojo again.

EDIT: By the way, what's 'IDDQD' mean?

'IDDQD' is the god-mode cheat on Doom, and seems to be popular slang amongst some people (it even shows up on Urbandictionary.com) - the way he'd said it, it seemed to me like he was implying that as long as we didn't know whether or not Psyconaut was real, he was 'invincible'.

That was my original interpretation though. Having now seen what he'd done to the wiki, I'd say that it's possible that he's just harkening back to his earlier comments of 'DLM is God' with the similar 'Psyconaut8 is invincible'.

Banination? Priveledges? Something tells me DP has been spending maybe a little too much time around Strong Bad. Very Happy

But back on topic I was initially in favour of giving DLM a second chance. As I said in the orignal topic on the issue I felt that his attempt to get back into the Dojo might be a sign of how much he wanted to be here and that there might consequently be a chance that he would change his ways in order to be allowed to stay. But from the way he's been acting both before and after he was banned it wouldn't suprise me if it was nothing more than a delusional attempt to flaunt the power and privilage he seems to believe he has.

Since comming back he's been nothing but rude, arrogant and aggressive when he should be greatful we've even considered giving him a second chance. The vast majority of forums would have banned Psychonaut at the first hint that he was DLM.

In short he obviously hasn't learnt from his mistakes and has abused an attempt by the admins to make peace. He's really not the sort of person we want to have to deal with here.

All of his harrassment on JRC has been directed towards me.

I have every right to be angry.

As I have said, time and time again, rape is indeed not funny.

Not to mention that he is extremely disrespectful to other people who deserve more respect then this little mealworm.

It's an insult that either one or the same (in reference to the lack of knowledge of his true identity) for them to bribe DP in such a manner.

He has not apologised as 3kul has said, and has taken our offering of a second chance and smeared it with filth as far as I'm concerned.

I salute our Sensei's morality in adopting the Christ-like attitude of mercy: so noble an air is to be lauded. But I fear that the time for mercy is over. Immaturity, pugnacity, and disrespect are the seeds Drlupinmario has sown. Let him reap his final reward:

I cannot act in full conscience to vote any other way that total permaban. Although I feel that expedeincy would be kindly for our populace, leaving this poll up for long enough would allow a full range of opinion to be expressed. Then we can see what our membership really thinks.

If I had to pick one person out of the entire population of the forum who I would never trust with the Orb it'd be him.

I can't imagine why he would want the Orb if he honestly intended never to come here again so I can only assume he's either flat out lying or he intended to lurk and use whatever he reads against forum members in other places. Not to mention the fact that this just adds to his list of bribes/threats.

I'm starting to think it might be a good idea to just ban him, move any mention of his existance to the Hall of Shame and let us all get back to our lives

I agree with Danikat, by the looks of things he only wants it for Blackmail purposes, either that or he thinks he can actually cause some vandalism with it. He must really think we're stupid, why on earth would we bend to any of his "demands" when banning him would be so much easier and much more satisfying.

Ban him now, don't wait for the poll to finish. This latest PM is just the next chapter in a long line of ridiculous flaunts at the authority here. I say we make it the final chapter.
