Just joined. Found the link on Embri's sig in the Gameware Forums, and thought this was a great place. I am KC11 on all forums (KC11me on one, because the name wasn't long enough). I am trying to be a writer, and an RP is perfect for people like me.

Any help is greatly appriciated.

Ah greetings KC11, I don't believe we've met. I'm Swix most places, but on Gameware I'm Yamatano. Which I haven't been for a while I have to admit.

Lots of people here will be happy to give advice, including myself, so don't be afraid to ask. The Amphitheater may well be worth a look at if you want to be a writer, as there are quite a few stories up there. I'm sure Ashen Rain will also be glad to see a fellow writer. Or you could just jump straight into an RP and learn as you go.

I've seen you put up a few things in the Genetic Repository, and I've seen a few dragons on your list. There are quite a few of us (again myself included) who RP as dragons, so any more in the mix are welcome. You could come join in my Emergence RP in the Wilds, lots and lots of dragons there , being played by both RPers and as NPC's. Or make your own RP if you find any of them daunting.

Now I come to the serious part, the rules here are simple:

1: Respect your fellow Dojodians
2: Respect the decisions of the Admins.

If you have any questions or anything, pretty much everyone will be happy to answer them.

If it's about a board, PMing the Mod/s of that board would be better and would probably help ease the load of our great Admins. Mods have cool silver dragons on their belts.

Or if it's something techy, an Admin would be better. Just bare in mind that they're often very, very busy. Especially DP, as this is his site afterall . Admins have cool gold dragons on their belts.

Aloha KC. I'm sure one of the Admins (I mean, the admins who actually do anything of importance around here, unlike me) will be along with a prepackaged welcome and where the best places to get started are.

If you want to RP, The Wilds is where it's at. Freeform Roleplay for all levels and experience. Also, you may want to think about posting a character sheet in the Hall Of Records. There are plenty of other people's in there, so look through them to help you decide what needs to go into yours.

If you want to relax, check out the Bingo Hall, namely The Sidenote Game. For some reason, that thread is strangely popular.

Above all, enjoy your stay, and please tip your waitresses...they weild shotguns
