Singles Round 1: Addman vs Father Mac

((Arena: It is a vast green land, with the occasional tree spotted about, and a forest just on the edge of the green plain circling around from the right to the left, in a semi-circular fashion. To the right is a large lake, several metres deep, and at least twenty feet in length and thirty feet in width. Around the plain there are a few boulders spread about randomly. There are most likely rocks and stones spread around somewhere.

((Father Mac, again we meet in the Olympics. Good luck to you, here's hoping for a good fight))

Bird chirped and chattered in the treetops around Addman's position. This picturesque environment would play host to a devastating battle, especially since the muppet had aquired a new toy, the Plasma Rifle. This had been taken from his experiences on Mars ((Another RP)) and had quickly replaced his old Scimitar as the rifle suited him a whole lot better. Large balls of explosive plasma? What wasn't there to like?!

Gazing through a clearing in the forest where he was currently situated, Addman tried to locate Father Mac. Unfortunately, he was unable to find the preist as of yet, so he instead crouched behind a fallen log and waited to make his move.

A squirrel ran past his position, and Addman had to fight his desire to blow the furry little rodent away and test his new gun, but he figured that giving away his position would not be a wise move just now. He'd be back for that squirrel later. In the meantime, he stayed concealled and waited for his opponent to arrive on the scene.

Father Mac gently strolls past the bushes, watching the wonderful wildlife flying and flittering about this most wondrous place. The peacefulness and serenity of such places liven and enlighten his heart and spirit. Somewhere nearby he could hear a bird chirping, music to his ears.
He found it only a shame then that he was here to fight someone for a personal greater glory. If he could not challenge this person and win, then what good was he as a man respected and looked up to by his Flock. He had already decided that this was a necessity, a test from a higher power, and that he would not fail in his task.

Opening his mind, having kept it mostly closed in case his opponent also had telepathy, he begins to search for the one known as Addman. He had fought someone with a similar name the year before; perhaps it was the same person. There! ~You would hide from your challenger. Come forth so that we may fight an honourable fight~
He waits for his opponent to show himself, a look of concentration hiding any other emotion upon his face.

((Addman is not telepathic. Was that thought directed at Addman? If so, would he have been able to hear it?))

Becoming bored with the wait, Addman threw caution to the wind and decided to make his presence known. Standing upright, he began to walk directly into the clearing where the lake was situated, brandishing his new rifle like he'd just returned from the most successful hunting journey of all time.

~Just how tough can a priest be?~ Addman thought to himself. Although the muppet hadn't exactly had much contact with the clergy, he was fairly certain that they were mostly peaceful people. He'd heard of his good counterpart's previous trouble with Father Mac, and the narrow margin of which Ace had managed to secure his win. Addman was much more confident in his own abilities and believed that if that weakling Ace could do it, he'd have no problem.

Once he reached the clearing, he pointed his gun directly above his head and fired one single round into the air, as a somewhat beacon to the father. The ball of plasma flew upwards, before dissipating in a swirling, purple mass.

"Come on Father! What's wrong? Afraid of a little puppet?!"

((Yes, you would be able to hear that thought as he spoke into Addman's mind. If I make a private thought, then I will make that noticeable. But that speech was directed towards Addman. He does not have to be telepathic to receive a telepathic message.))

Father Mac stops as he hears some kind of gun being fired. Looking into the sky he sees the ball of plasma shooting through the sky. A beacon for his challenger. He then hears not too far away Addman yell to him, asking if he were afraid.
Resolved, he begins to run towards Addman, slowly levitating as he does so, and flying at a high speed between the trees, finally reaching Addman. Landing not too close, he begins to walk towards Addman calmly. Staff in one hand, his cloak gently floating in the slight breeze that keeps the warm air bearable.

Father Mac stares at the blue being. It bears an uncanny resemblance to the person he had fought once before. "I see you have taken off that strange wig young man. This time, the result will be different, I assure you." Not wasting any time against an opponent with a gun, he holds his palm out towards Addman, and releases a telekinetic blast in an attempt to remove his gun.
