sword: Rin carries an unbreakable obsidian katana on his back, the blade of which is always cold and can morph into any of 5 forms at Rin's whim, if the blade leaves his hand it will revert back into its guardian form and refuse to change for anyone exept Rin

fangs and claws- when needed Rin will fight with his fangs and claws

weapon forms:
Guardian- this is the basic katana form that Rin carries, the blade is always cold to the touch, while having a very sharp egde the blade almost seems as though it can not cut living things, this is because it is a blade of healing and defence, hence its name. as it passes though somthing thats alive it heals its wounds giving the appearence that it never cut

Despiration- in this form the blade becomes a *happy spices* sword, while becoming relitivly lightweight for Rin the blade seems very heavy to those being attacked with it, this blade can easily take down swarms of enemys. The blades special attack is a blast of energy, all of which comes from Rins remaining energy as he uses the attack, however it drains him to the point where he passes out after using it

Vengence- in this form the blade becomes a double bladed sword, capable of being weilded at high speed, and has vicious looking blades that are always hot, in this form the blade increaces Rins dexterity and reflexes. It also allows him to to fire cresent energy blades, when used properly the high speeds of the sword swinging and the energy blades can produce an effect that comes close the despiration form without the side effects

Valor- this is the longsword version of the blade, it was specificly designed to take down armored opponents, having a blade that can cleave through most earth metals is this blades only ability

Executioner- this is the duel sword form, when this form is used the katana actualy becomes two scimitar, this form tends to be the most difficult for Rin to use, but also the most effective as the blades combine the speed of vengence with the keen edge of valor

magic: Rin knows basic elementalist skills (he can evoke and manipulate the elements, not cast actual spells)
