This is the system as Embri described it to me...so, start expanding on the raw materials and possible processies

Perhaps water as a raw material, and then
water+flour -> pasta
water +2xflour -> bread

and then you could have nigh-endless combinations with bread+animal/vegetable for sandwiches.

I'd like the idea of magical items but I can't think of anything off my head.

Goron, I think "Logs of Evil" would sound better than Evil Logs. Or maybe "Tainted Log" but that might sound too much like "Tainted love"

glass+sand+wood -> Hourglass (Could be useful - maybe a coded timer that displays a message to the user in a certain amount of time, or sends a PM or something, so the see it in their emails if they have that option on?)

Out of ideas for now.
