*Goron walks up onto the podium, smiling and waving to the crowd.*

"Thank you all for coming. Now, for the Arpies, we always get a celebrity guest to pass out the awards. Unfortunately this year, you'll have to settle for me, because everyone else is still stuck in the Evil Game. Damn that game..."

"Now, for all you seat fillers out there, I hated to make you travel all the way out here just to get no award. Unfortunately we overestimated the turnout and rented a far bigger auditorium than we need."

*Goron sighs*

"Enough from me though, let's get on with the show. What a year, I tell ya. I'd love to give each and every one of you an award, but unfortunately Embri doesn't work that fast... What?... How dare you! These aren't just image files!"

*Goron dives off stage to wrestle a nay-sayer, and Shadow walks onto the podium.*

"Bung irgle grah. Grndl exlmy grah."

*With that, a screen comes down behind him showing all of the awards and nominees. Noting that his speech is less than understood, Shadow clears his throat. A voice comes over a loudspeaker, and beings to read off the Nominees.*

*Goron gets back up on to the podium, now thoroughly bruised and battered.*

"Once again, I'd like to thank you all for coming. Next year perhaps we can get a good opening act, and a host who can speak English. I'd like to thank our sponsors, Embri and myself. Embri did the sprites, I paid for them. Good night, for those of you who didn't win, better luck next year! As for you, you nay-saying mutant chicken..."

*Goron begins cursing at the chicken in the front row, and his mic is cut off.*

[Embri]

A slightly frazzled looking unisus waves Goron over to the side stage. "They're done... your the Medal Moderator, so hand them out yourself. I'm beat." Embri flops over and folds down her wings.

This is the happiest day of my life, I'd like to thank Jebus and Yotaman for helping me win the funniest post award ( and Fort ), and I'd like to thank my brain for the EC vs Gameware idea...now I hope to see you all at the after party because I hear Slugfoot's going to be leading a set of dancers and...

*Notices everyone is piling out of the building*

HollowEyes and Little Sister walk on stage, HollowEyes taking the two awards offered by the gracious grendel host, Shadow, whilst Little Sister attempted to wrestle the Best Role Player Award from him. Approaching the mic as he shakes Little Sister away, he delivers his speech.

"First I would like to offer kudos to both Goron and Shadow, who pushed this competition idea to the point that we were almost held at gunpoint and forced to vote. As most of you are aware, this is why Cornelius could not make it tonight, not that too many of us can be all that surprised. It appears that Embri also deserves thanks for crafting these awards, I can't imagine the effort that she puts into things like this, but as always her works are a sight to behold."

"For the items award, I suppose I can't say much without thanking my customers. I can't recall having seen many charms used by other people lately, but you all certainly seem to enjoy buying them."

"As for my other award, again, it's hard to take it without thanking everyone here. In my opinion you can't expect a good roleplayer to be able to develop skills if their stomping grounds are nothing more than a cesspool of spam, and thankfully we can consider Blackstar as anything but that. The only way I've ever learnt to roleplay is by example, and as far as I know you won't find a better example of fine roleplaying than what's exhibitted by the people who frequent the Dojo."

"Thank you once again, people of Blackstar, and please look forward to my return in mid-January."

HollowEyes takes a bow then leaves the stage, returning to his seat with a furiously jealous Little Sister scrambling after him.

*Shadow scampers over and places the "Best Sensei" award on Embri's tired head.*

[Embri]

"Ow..." Embri blinks and shakes her head as the Arpie falls over and clonks her in the noggin. Dazedly she stares at the awards.

"Thank you... I don't know what to say, except I'm not worthy of a Sensei award, people. Yes, I lend a hoof in the graphics department, but Au'Marui actually made Blackstar... which I think counts for a lot more."

The mare hands the Sensei Award back to Goron.

[Fort]

*Stares down at Award.*
This is the happiest day of my life! Well...it would be happier if the Mafia wasn't so sloppy with killing off Addman in time for the Award ceramony. Ahh well, at least I gave Danikat's Mafia the sli-ERRK!

*Fort suddenly stiffens up and keels over. However, no one could prise the award from his cold dead fingers until he hit the third stage of decomposation, and even then they used a crowbar.*



OOC: It's very nice of you to pay for my Award, Goron; and you to make it, Embri; so...how much intrest is this going to cost me?

[Goron40]

"No, Embri, keep it. At least for the ceremony. After that, You can give it to whoever you like."

[Embri]

"Sorry, Goron. Already returned it..."

Embri shrugs and heaves herself back up to her hooves.

"I have to get back to work, anyways. Enjoy the Arpies." The mare leaves quietly, abandoning the Sensei Trophy next to Goron's feet.

*MDude looks at the bag of seat filling he's been using, only to discover that it was actualy pumpkin pie filling.*

Huh... Well, It's not like anyone will notice the difference anyway.

*Goron looks on hopelessly.*

GBE unable to be seen as no one knows what GBE actually looks like, is in fact nowhere to be seen. Instead, Matron stomps onto the stage. Anyone would think it'd give way underneath that sheer excess of unpleasantness alone, nevermind the fact that she's not the slimmest of people.

Storming up to the microphone, she snatches award and looks at it almost hungrily, before she looks up to the audience. Shifting her glasses back up so that they literally are not far from a teter on the edge of her nose, she wrinkles it, and then rather boomily, "Thankyou! Now, you all have twenty minutes until lights out. Do not make me bring out your medicine!" With that, she storms back of the stage, almost tackling people out of her way...
